CUMBERLAND - Dianne L. Fitch, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket after a brief illness. She was the wife of Kenneth P. Fitch and they would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on August 16.
Born in Milford, MA, she was the daughter of Marrie (Mather) Thompson-Biggs of Acworth, GA and the late John Dillon of Buzzards Bay, MA. She resided in Cumberland for the past 40 years, previously residing in Franklin, MA. Mrs. Fitch was employed as a School Teacher for the Cumberland School Department for 25 years.

WOONSOCKET - Mabel E. Riel, 67, of Cumberland Hill Road died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Mabel E. (Adam) Riel, she had lived in Manville for most of her life before moving to Woonsocket 12 years ago.
Miss Riel worked at the Homestead Group (formerly the Arc of Northern RI) before retiring

BLACKSTONE- Stephen R. Allaire, Sr., of Blackstone died peacefully in his home on April 7th at the age of 94 surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 10th, 1919, the son of Darius Allaire and Emma (Lavallee) Allaire. He was one of nine children.

WHITINSVILLE- Kozimor, Karen F. of Whitinsville, formerly of Waltham, died peacefully on March 22, 2014 at age 65.
She was born in Bellingham, the daughter of Frank Kozimor and the late Dorothy (Freeman) Kozimor.
A graduate of Northeast Broadcasting School in Boston, Karen enjoyed a long career with many top radio stations in New England, most recently as Traffic Director at WCRB. She was passionate about animals and supported Friends of Animals and the MSPCA.

Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Normand J. Jr. and Dorothy P. (Riordan) Salois of Pascoag.

Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Maria Christina (Suffoletto) Lambert.

WOONSOCKET- Roland L. Duval, beloved father and grandfather, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 in his home. He was the husband of the late Gloria J. (Ashworth) Duval, to whom he was married for 56 years.
Born in Berkley, RI, he was the son of the late Leo and Bertha (Durand) Duval. He had lived in Woonsocket for the last 50 years.

WOONSOCKET- Roland A. Vadenais 89, formerly of Pond St., died April 4, 2014 at St. Antione Residence. He was the husband of the late Yvette (Carpentier) Vadenais.
Born in Woonsocket, December 5, 1924, he was a son of the late Wilfred and Anna (Guertin) Vadenais.
Roland served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked in the Maintenance Department for the City of Woonsocket for over twenty years before retiring. Roland was known as the "Mayor" of St. Antoine, he was friendly and outgoing and loved to dance, sing, and play the spoons.
