UXBRIDGE - Constance L. (Remillard) Chicoine, 86, of Uxbridge passed away Mon. June 2, 2014 in Brigham & Womenâ€™s Hospital, Boston.
She was born on Dec. 7, 1927 in Bellingham, the daughter of the late Wilfrid and Leda (Vadnais) Remillard.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed summers at the ocean and watching the Boston Red Sox.
WOONSOCKET _ Scott A. Bootland, 58, of Grove Street, died May 28, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Stella (Czarny) Bootland of Woonsocket, and the late George Bootland. He was a lifelong city resident.
Mr. Bootland worked the past fifteen years as a registered nurse for Zambarano Hospital, Pascoag and was previously employed by Landmark Medical Center for over ten years. Scott enjoyed bowling, playing pitch and trips to the casino with his mother.
WOONSOCKET - Gerard Frappier, 79, Retired Vice Principal of Bellingham Memorial Junior-Senior High School, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. He is survived by his brother, Omer Frappier, and his sister, Jeanne Pepin, both of Woonsocket, and was the brother of the late Joseph Frappier of Bellingham.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 4th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woosocket, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private.
CRANSTON - Helen (Hanley) Carson, 92 of Cranston, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2014, at the St. Antoine Residence.
She is survived by 2 sons, Stephen Carson of Windham, NH. & Mark Carson of North Smithfield, RI.

Ramona J. Fisher
WOONSOCKET - Ramona J. Fisher, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18 in her home at 238 Second Avenue. She was born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Raymond and Marion (Salley) Fisher. Ramona retired from The Woonsocket Call in 1997, after 47 years as a proofreader and advertising clerk. She is survived by her son, David Fisher, and many close friends whom she considered family.
Todd J. Guy
WOONSOCKET - Todd J. Guy, 55, passed away May 24, 2014.
Born in Woonsocket December 16, 1958. He was the son of the late Jean Paul Guy and Fleurette (St. Germain) Guy.
He resided in Woonsocket. He was the owner of Guy's Masonry for 10 years.
He is survived by sisters Denise Zajac of Boynton Beach, Fl., Lynne Bouliane, Woonsocket, RI, Felice Webb of San Antonio, Texas. Brother Keefe Guy of Deerfield Beach, FL. Brother of the late Lance J. Guy and sister Elaine M. Leduc. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Burial services are private.
WOONSOCKET - Bennie Harris age 84 of Woonsocket, Rhode Island died unexpectedly on Monday May 26, 2014. Bennie was born in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Lou Wash Harris and Inez (Spearman) Harris. He came to Rhode Island in 1948, where he met and married his wife of 59 years, Rose V. (Andrade) Harris. He has a surviving son, Michael M. Harris and wife, Tonya Harris of North Smithfield, Rhode Island and grandson, Jordan and two granddaughters, Memphis and Amani.
Doris C. Charbonneau
WOONSOCKET - Doris C. (Beausoleil) Charbonneau, 85, of Woonsocket, formerly of Winter Haven, FL, died Saturday, May 24, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Armand Charbonneau. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Hermenegilde and Ella (Savaria) Beausoleil.
Doris was a textile worker for many years. She loved BINGO, line dancing and trips to the casino.
George R. D'Alessio
BURRILLVILLE - George R. D'Alessio, 91, of Harrisville, RI, passed on May 23, 2014 at Bayberry Commons Nursing Center in Pascoag.
He was born in Pascoag, RI, son of the late Peter & Josephine (Bioto) D'Alessio.
George worked many years in area textile mills. He was a lifelong Burrillville resident. He was a WWII US Army veteran and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post.
He is survived by three sons, Robert, Donald, and Raymond D'Alessio. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Jeannette A. Richer
WOONSOCKET - Jeannette A. Richer 79, of Thibeault Ave., died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Gerald Richer for fifty two years. Born in Blackstone, MA, she was a daughter of the late Aldor and Cecile (Girard) Fontenault. Jeannette was a nurse's aide for Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center for eighteen years before retiring in 1996.
