Raymond A. Plouffe
WOONSOCKET - Plouffe, Raymond A, 68 of Woonsocket, RI, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 1st, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of Rita (Vanasse) Plouffe and the late Armand J. Plouffe, he was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the 196th Light Infantry Brigade.
Raymond worked as a molder for the Cumberland Foundry for 43 years retiring in 2007.
Lorraine R. Hopp
WOONSOCKET - Lorraine R. (St. Germain) Hopp, 71, of Front St, died July 15, 2014 in Oakland Grove Health Care Center. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Adrien and Jeannette (Renaud) St. Germain. She was the wife of the late George Hopp.
Lorraine had worked at ACS Industries for thirty years, retiring in 1987. She was a cat lover and enjoyed playing Bingo and card games.
Lisa A. Ganusko
WOONSOCKET - Lisa A. Ganusko 57, passed away July 8, 2014 at home. She was the wife of Robert J. Ganusko Jr. Lisa was born in New Haven, CT a daughter of the late Michael and Sharon (Reed) Mancuso. She worked as a salesclerk for several years and as a CNA but mostly she was a loving homemaker. Lisa loved animals, art, music, and cooking.
Robert M. Durand
CHESTER, SC - Robert Maurice Durand, 61, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at his home. Calling hours in Woonsocket, Rhode Island will be Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 19, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Chester, SC with Father David Runnion officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, July 18, 2014 at Barron Funeral Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Patricia D. Vanasse
SOUTH KINGSTOWN - Patricia D. (Barber) Vanasse, 63, of South Kingstown, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 12, 2014 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Richard Vanasse. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Barbara (Patterson) Barber.
Patricia worked for Verizon Communications for 30 years before her retirement. She loved to travel with her family, take walks at her beloved sea wall in Narragansett, and spend quality time with her grandchildren.
Rinaldo R. Spinella
WOONSOCKET - Rinaldo R. Spinella, 88, of Blue Stone Dr., passed away on July, 16, 2014 in Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmelo and Francesca (Pino) Spinella.
Mr. Spinella worked for the former New England Telephone Company, now Verizon in various positions for forty-two years. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
Michael J. Saad Jr.
WOONSOCKET - Michael J. Saad JR., 23, died Saturday June 28, 2014.
Born in Woonsocket, He was the son of Maureen(Tobin) Dubois, of Bellingham, and the late Michael J. Saad Sr.
Michael worked as a stocker, for Hilltop.
Aldor J. Croteau
WOONSOCKET - Aldor J. Croteau 95, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away July 13, 2014 at the Woonsocket Health Center.
He was loving husband of 68 years to Henriette (Martinval) Croteau.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI, son of the late Arthur & Albertine (Touisgnant) Croteau.
Aldor worked for many years in area textile mills. He was a lifelong Woonsocket resident. He was a WWII Army Veteran.
Lorette L. Ducharme
WOONSOCKET - Lorette L. Ducharme, 75, formerly of Privilege St., Woonsocket, RI, passed away July 12. 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Bayberry Commons Nursing Home in Pascoag.
She was born in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Roland & Gertrude (Lapierre) Nault.
Lorette retired from the CVS/ Mark Stevens Co. in 2002 and previously worked many years for the former Tupperware Co. She was born and raised in Woonsocket, previously living in the Nasonville section of Burrillville. She enjoyed the beach, the casino and playing cards.
Georgette A. Harris
WOONSOCKET - Georgette A. Harris, 57, of Woonsocket died Friday at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of Samuel Joe Harris. They were married on September 16, 1997.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Leo Joseph Belliveau and Marguerite (St. Germain) Belliveau. She resided in Woonsocket for most of her life and also lived in Littleton, Maine for several years.
Georgette was employed at several area textile firms and worked at CVS in Woonsocket for the past 9 years.
Georgette was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved music.
