Ann E. Paquette
WOONSOCKET- Ann E. Paquette, 77, of Woonsocket died Wednesday morning at home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Roger A. Paquette. They were married on October 12, 1957.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Alderic and Eva (Fortier) Denomme. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Paquette was employed as a stitcher for several area sewing shops. She also worked at U.S. Rubber, Royal Robes and in the housekeeping department at Mt. St. Francis Health Center before retiring.
NO. SMITHFIELD- Brian Sewell, 36, of No. Smithfield, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Hebert Health Nursing Home, Smithfield, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Woonsocket, he was the son of Raymond F. Sewell of Woonsocket and Rita E. (Charette) Sewell of No. Smithfield.
Robert H. Marceau
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Robert H. Marceau, 73, of Mendon Rd. and formerly of Woonsocket, died January 9, 2014 in St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield.
His memorial service will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Slatersville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
Marcel E. Rondeau
WRENTHAM, MA- Marcel E. Rondeau, 94, of Wrentham, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham, MA with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 67 years of Bernice (Rej) Rondeau.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on February 24, 1920, he was the son of the late Arsene and Mary (Boursier) Rondeau.
Estelle Y. Lachapelle
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Estelle Y. Lachapelle, 89, of Lincoln, RI, formerly of North Smithfield, passed away March 12, 2014, at the Holiday Retirement Home in Lincoln.
She was the wife of the late Albert Lachapelle.
She was born in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Friderick & Martina Durand.
BLACKSTONE- Hannah G. (Arnold) Fredette Austin, 82, passed away at Milford Regional Hospital on Wed. March 12.
She is survived by her dear friend Rebecca Bousquet, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Roland Victor Fredette in 1965; her second husband Fredrick M. Austin in 1972, and 2 brothers; Raymond C. Arnold, and Herman D. Arnold.
Born in Bellingham on October 30, 1931 she was the daughter of George and Leona (Thormann) Arnold and lived in the Bellingham/Blackstone area all her life.
Noel D. Heon
LINCOLN- Noel D. Heon, 56, of Church Street, Manville and formerly of Burrillville, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Florence M. (Drury) Heon. Mr. and Mrs. Heon were married for 31 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Albert and Irene (Quellette) Heon, he had lived in Burrillville for most of his life before moving to Lincoln 3 years ago.
Mr. Heon was a self-employed painter.
WOONSOCKET- Marylou Pinto, 65, of Woonsocket, passed away unexpectedly at home.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Anna Pendeiro. She resided in Woonsocket for most of her life.
She loved her cat, music and was very proud of being independent.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Curran Road, Cumberland. Arrangements are under the direction of J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, Cumberland.
MANVILLE- Mary Montanari passed away peacefully with family at her side on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Holiday Retirement Home in Manville, R.I.
She was born in Woonsocket, R.I. to the late Joseph and Malvina Trant. Mary was the wife of the late Mauro Montanari.
She was employed for many years as a Quality Control Inspector at Tupperware Corporation in North Smithfield, R.I. until her retirement.
Ann Fener Nyhan
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Ann Fener Nyhan, 93, of 41 Summit Ave, North Smithfield died March 11, 2014 in Waterview Villa, East Providence.
She was born in Bridgeport, CT, the fifth of six children of the late Louis and Lillian Ansell and raised in New York City.
She is survived by Alan Fener of Columbia MD, Janice Saraidarian of Woonsocket, Diane Fener of Brooklyn NY and Ethan Fener of Needham, MA. She is also survived by her former husband, Albert Fener, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
