Andre J. Kelleter

WOONSOCKET - Andre J. Kelleter, 75, of Woonsocket, died Monday, July 7, 2014 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Gloria M. (Piette) Kelleter. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Julian and Christianna (Courchesne) Kelleter.
Andre was a truck driver for Branch Motors, Holmes Transportation and Ryder, retiring in 2003. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Andre was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 170. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

WOONSOCKET - Mildred A. Geter, 62, of Main St. died Friday July 4, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center, with her family by her side.
Born , in Newberry, South Carolina, daughter of the late Malcolm and Lela Mae (Harmon) Jeter.
She was an active member of St. James Baptist Church.
She worked as a CNA at Landmark Medical Center and Rhode Island Hospital, also for Beverage World Liquor Store, Miller Electric and Rosecraft.
Mildred, enjoyed being with her family and friends, cooking, baking and dancing.

WOONSOCKET - William J. Cummings, 81, of Meadow Rd., died July 4, 2014 in St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late William H. and Elizabeth C. (Hurley) Cummings.
He is survived by three siblings, Edward R. Cummings of No. Smithfield, Elizabeth H. Cummings of Woonsocket and John A. Cummings of No. Smithfield. He was the brother of the late Mary Cummings.

Robert D. Benoit

WOONSOCKET - Robert D. Benoit, 67, of Clinton St., died July 5, 2014 in Trinity Health & Rehabilitation Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Jean L. (Lataille) Benoit. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late George and Anita (Gauthier) Benoit.
Robert was a member of the Woonsocket Elks’ Club.

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA - Claire I. Auger passed away peacefully on July 4, 2014 at the age of 89, with her family by her side.
Claire was born in Manville Rhode Island August 2, 1924, the youngest of six children to George and Leona ( Berard) Auger. Claire graduated from St. Xavier's Academy in Providence R.I., and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Rhode Island College of Education in 1945. She also earned a Masters' Degree in Education in 1970 from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ.

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Victor A. Poirier Jr. 89 of Mendon Rd. died Monday, July 7, 2014 in the Friendly Home. He was the husband of the late Lillian A. (DeMello) Poirier. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Victor A. and Evelyn (Snow) Poirier. Victor was a WWII Navy Veteran. He worked as a machinist and tool maker for Taft Pierce and Miller Engineering retiring in 1988. Victor was a Fourth Degree Knight of the Kights of Columbus, and was a member of the VFW in Forestdale.

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Doris Y. (DeRosier) Rotatori, 87, of No. Smithfield, formerly of Woonsocket, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 in the St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Alfred R. Rotatori. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Charles and Yvonne (Bourgeois) DeRosier.
Doris was an advertising agent for AT Cross for fifteen years, retiring in 1984. She was previously a telephone operator for New England Telephone for 20 years. Doris was the past president of the Women's Sodality at St. Anthony's Church and a founding member of the Virgolibra Club.

Barthelemy J. Perreault

PUTNAM - Barthelemy "Bud" or Bart" Perreault, 89, of Elvira Heights, died Saturday, July 5, 2014 in UMass Memorial Hospital. He married his loving wife of over 50 years, Rita T. (LeClaire) Perreault on October 2, 1960 in Putnam. Born in Burrillville, RI, he was the son of the late Joseph and Teresa (Burke) Perreault.
Mr. Perreault was a WWII Navy Veteran. He went on to be a machinist for 18 years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, retiring in 1987. He enjoyed crossword Puzzles and was a devout Boston Red Sox fan.

Eugene R. Conway

CUMBERLAND - Eugene R. Conway, well respected businessman, educator, and life-long resident of Cumberland Hill, died July 7. He was 92. Eugene turned the lessons learned from early success at selling apples from the family orchard into growing the family bus and tour company, Conway Tours. The lessons he learned from curiously dismantling radiators on frigid winter mornings were turned into a successful career as a Cumberland High School science teacher for 27 years, retiring in 1983. Although he never learned to swim, he was a navy veteran of WWII, attaining the rank of captain.
