Marguerite H. Girard
WOONSOCKET - Marguerite H. Girard, 80, of Harrisville, formerly of Park Ave. Woonsocket died Wednesday evening at The Friendly Home in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Girard. They were married on February 12, 1955 and spent 57 years together until his passing in 2013.
Born in Bellingham she was a daughter of the late Eli and Bernadette (Champagne) Poirier. She was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life before moving to Harrisville several years ago.
Mrs. Girard was employed at Mark Stevens Inc. and Bancroft Corp.
Roland M. Lanctot
WOONSOCKET - Roland M. Lanctot, 50, of Woonsocket, died on May 8, 2014. He was the son of Alice (Klowan) Lanctot, of Woonsocket and the late Roland O. Lanctot.
Roland worked as a roofer for Greenwood Industries in Worcester, MA He was a member of Cercle Laurier Club in Woonsocket, as well as an avid Red Sox fan and 49ers fan.
Kenneth T. Rothrock
MILLVILLE - Kenneth T. Rothrock 80, of Millville MA., passed away on May 6, 2014 at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge MA.
He was the loving husband of 59 years to Charleen (Bibeault) Rothrock.
He was born in Hope RI., son of the late Carl & Louise (Budlong) Rothrock.
Ken was a machine operator for the Clark, Cutter & Mc Dermott Co., retiring due to illness. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Theresa A. Girard
UPTON- Theresa A. (Beaudoin) Girard, 86, of Upton, died Thursday May 8, 2014. She was the wife of the late George R. Girard who died in 2004.
Mrs. Girard was employed for 25 years as a Machine Operator for General Electric in Ashland until her retirement in 1980. She had previously worked for the former Bickford Shoe and the former Porter Shoe both of Milford.
Mrs. Girard was born September 19, 1927 in Milford the daughter of the late Docithe and Angelina (Gareri) Beaudoin. She attended the former St. Mary's Elementary School in Milford.
Carolyn E. Aust
SMITHFIELD - AUST, Carolyn E., 96, of Putnam Pike, died Tuesday May 6, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of the late Clifford R. Aust.
Born in Rome, New York, she was a daughter of the late Frank B. and Maryland (Pudney) Capron-Fiske.
Mrs. Aust was a graduate of RI College Class of 1940. She was in the Signal Corps during WWII.
She is survived by many friends.

Shirley G. Hawkins
WOONSOCKET- Shirley G. Hawkins, 79, of Grandview Ave. died Wednesday May 7, 2014 in the Friendly Home Inc. She was the beloved companion of Roland J. Ducharme.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Alfred J. and Eva (Raymond) Simoneau.
Shirley was a Homemaker.
Besides her companion Roland, she is survived by one son, Ronald and his wife Lou Ann, of Woonsocket, and one daughter Rhonda of Maine. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Wlfred Simoneau.
Greta R. Manseau
WOONSOCKET - Greta R. Manseau, of Poplar St., died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late John and Yvonne (Guilbeault) Carolo. Greta was a waitress for Kay's Restaurant for over thirty five years, retiring in 2010. She also waitressed at the former Vermette's Restaurant and Cape Cod Creamery. Greta enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading mysteries and vacationing at Cape Cod. She loved her granddaughters and was devoted to her pets.
Marie V. O'Brien
BEDFORD, NH - Marie V. O'Brien, 92, passed away peacefully with her children at her side at The Arbors of Bedford on May 7, 2014. She was born September 20, 1921, in Millville, Massachusetts, and was the daughter of George W. Carroll and Margaret (Hart) Carroll of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Mrs. O'Brien was a long-time resident of Manchester, New Hampshire and a summer resident of Weekapaug, Rhode Island. She attended the Elmhurst School of the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Providence, Rhode Island and graduated from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts.
MESA, ARIZONA- Alice Mary Cunningham, daughter of the late Harvey M. and Margaret "Mimi" Cunningham of Winter Street, has died. Alice, 90, passed away March 19, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona, where she had lived for nearly 19 years.
Thomas O. Flood
NAPLES, FL - Thomas O. Flood, 72, of Naples, FL formerly of Woonsocket, RI, gracefully and heroically succumbed to complications due to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a rare neurological disease, Saturday, April 26, 2014, after a long, hard fought, courageous battle. He was the husband of Anne M. (Caracuzzo) Flood, whom he married June 20, 1964. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Mary E. (Graham) Flood.
