Romeo L. Hebert
UXBRIDGE- Romeo L. "Romy" Hebert, 77, of 15 Bruce St. died Tue. March 25 at home after an illness.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Constance A. "Connie" (Savage) Hebert; a daughter Linda E. Graham of Uxbridge; a son James E. Hebert of Uxbridge; 7 grandchildren Christopher Givner, Stephanie Hebert, Jennifer Givner, Michael Hebert, Timothy Graham, Cory Graham, and Lyndsey Hebert; a great-granddaughter Savannah Givner; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Julien Hebert and Rudolph Hebert.
WOONSOCKET- Marsha (Wagner) Shaver, 84, of Woonsocket passed away on March 24, 2014. She was the wife of the late Dr. Arthur Shaver for sixty-three years.
Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jean (Napsky) Wagner.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey and his wife Nadine of Providence and her daughter Dena Stern and her husband Dr. Jeffrey Stern of Stratham, NH. Marsha also leaves two grandchildren, Samantha and Skyler Stern and a twin sister, Elaine Winer of CA. She was the sister of the late Rae Sacks of FL.
Jacqueline N. Lozy
BURRILLVILLE- Jacqueline N. "Jackie" Lozy, 52, of Glendale, RI passed away March 24, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Central Falls, RI, daughter of Blanche (Laliberte) Anderson of Glendale and the late George Anderson.
Camilla C. Czupryna
UXBRIDGE- Camilla C. (Malisz) Czupryna, 95, of Uxbridge passed away on Sunday March 23, 2014 in the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge. She was the wife of the late Stanislaus H. Czupryna who died in 1966.
Mrs. Czupryna had been employed in the cafeteria at the former Draper Corp. in Hopedale and had previously worked at Scottâ€™s Mill and J.S.B. Yarns at Wacantuck Mill, both in Uxbridge.
Elvira C. Belair
WOONSOCKET- Elvira C. Belair, 93, died March 22, 2014 at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Arthur "Bones" Belair.
Born in Maine, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Grace (Sawyer) Corbett. Mrs. Belair was a homemaker.
WOONSOCKET- Francine (Andrade) Popovich, 58, of Gaskill St. died Wednesday March 19, 2014. She was the wife of Andrei Popovich.
Born in Woonsocket, R.I., daughter of the late Francis Andrade, and Theresa (Lachapelle) Andrade of Woonsocket, R.I.
Francine was a Bartender for the former Scoreboard located in Blackstone for several years and also for various restaurants in the area.
Francine enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.
Roland H. Lapierre
WOONSOCKET- Roland H. Lapierre, 76, of Woonsocket died Friday morning at Landmark Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Jeannette (Turcotte) Lapierre. They were married on August 8, 1959.
Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Arthur and Rena (Arel) Lapierre. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
Brenda S. Goudy
BELLINGHAM- Brenda S. (Wekstein) Goudy, 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at home lovingly surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 23, 1937 in Haverhill, MA, daughter to the late Frank and Clara Wekstein, and graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School in 1955.
Brenda formerly lived in Milford and Millis and then retired to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida before returning back to Massachusetts last summer. She was the wife of the late Isaac Goudy.
Lucien C. Bonin
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Lucien C. Bonin, 87, of Iron Mine Hill Rd, North Smithfield passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 19th in Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Theresa (Gagnon) Bonin.
He was born in North Smithfield, a son of the late Fernando and Flora (Ouellette) Bonin.
Mr. Bonin was a WWII Navy veteran and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre. He was a machine operator for Whitins Machine Works for many years, retiring in 1988.
Jo-Ann C. Aynes
MANVILLE- Jo-Ann C. Aynes, 49, of Manville, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014, she was the beloved wife of Herman Aynes.
Born in Millville, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Simone (Giguere) Menard. She resided in Manville for most of her life.
Joann loved to shop, but most of all loved to spend time with her grandson, Aiden.
Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Dustin Giguere and Erika Desmarais both of Manville; her sister, Linda Culerton of Smithfield; her brothers, Rick, Ronnie and Gary; one grandson, Aiden Giguere.
