Jeffrey M. Guilbeault
BLACKSTONE - Jeffrey M. Guilbeault, 33, of Blackstone, died Friday, September 12, 2014. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of Richard J. and Ann M. (Hinman) Guilbeault.
Jeff was a graduate of Blackstone-Millville Regional High School and studied graphic arts at Katharine Gibbs School. He was a foreman for Walsh Builders, Blackstone for three years. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Shirley M. Stearns
BURRILLVILLE - Shirley M. Stearns, 94, resident of Glendale, RI, passed away September 12, 2014 at the Bayberry Commons Nursing Home in Pascoag, RI.
She was the loving wife of the late George Stearns.
She was born in Worcester, MA on September 14, 1921, daughter of the late Edmund & Gertrude Reed.
Shirley and her loving family owned and operated Spring Lake Beach and Concessions in Glendale, RI for many years. She was a resident of Burrillville, and formerly lived in Miami and Jupiter, FL.
Ida I. Pelletier
ALBION - Ida I. Pelletier, 90, of Franklin St. Lincoln, formerly of School St., Albion died Thursday September 11, 2014 at Home & Hospice Care of RI Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. She was the loving wife of the late Lucien J. Pelletier who passed away on July 5, 2013.
Born in Richmond, Virginia she was a daughter of the late Walker and Etta (Klein) Floyd. She was raised in Ocean View, Virginia and graduated from Granby High School in Norfolk, Virginia.
Joseph L. B. Nadeau
WOONSOCKET - Joseph L. B. Nadeau, a retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, died Friday at home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy C. Nadeau.
Born in Woonsocket on Oct. 31, 1934, he was a son of the late Leo Aime Nadeau and Anita (Boudreau) Nadeau.
He attended St. Joseph's Elementary School and was a 1952 graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy.
George S. DiCesare
WOONSOCKET - George S. DiCesare, 66, of Woonsocket, died Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Suzanne Meunier. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Silvio S. and Cecile (Fontaine) DiCesare.
George was a communicant and former organist at Holy Family Church, and sang in its choir.
Terry T. O'Rourke
WOONSOCKET - Terry T. (Lambert) O'Rourke, 89, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 12, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. O'Rourke, whom she married February 2, 1949. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Elzear and Julia (Mercier) Lambert.
Mrs. O'Rourke was employed by French Tex Novelty Yarns and Royal Robes, before retiring in 1985 to care for her late husband. She was a former member of the Royal Travelers. Mrs. O'Rourke was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church.
Ronald C. Ferland
WOONSOCKET - Ronald C. Ferland, 66, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Landmark Hospital. He was the husband of the late Suzanne Goyette. He was born to Sylvio and Faye (Barrs) Ferland.
He is survived by a sister Sylvia Belhumeur, and four brothers, Robert, Lawrence, Marcel and James.
Funeral services will be private.
Therese S. Jacques
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Therese Sylvianne (Gelinas) Jacques, 92, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away September 11, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence.
She was born September 21, 1921 in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Frank & Annette (Dansereau) Gelinas.
WOONSOCKET - Sourichanh Kingvilay, 48, of Woonsocket died Wednesday evening at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Laos he came to the United States as a teenager. He resided in Providence for many years before moving to Woonsocket several years ago.
He was the son of Chantay Kingvilay of Woonsocket and the late Vang Kingvilay. He is also survived by his brother Thavone Kingvilay of Pawtucket and his sister Linda Phannavong of Woonsocket as well as his extended family and friends.
Chester R. Cleveland Jr.
WOONSOCKET - Chester R. Cleveland Jr. 63, of Lincoln St. died Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Ann (Byron) Cleveland. Born in Milford MA, he was a son of Phyllis (Berry) Cleveland and the late Chester Cleveland Sr.
He was a maintenance man for Lebel Properties for many years retiring in 1991 due to illness.
