WOONSOCKET - Georgette (Dufault) Lebon, 83, formerly of Clinton St. died Friday January 9, 2015 in the Friendly Home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Raymond Lebon.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Wilfred and Clara (Rousseau) Dufault.
Georgette and her husband moved to Blackstone in 1955 where she raised her four children and moved back to Woonsocket in 1986.
Georgette worked as a Housekeeper at St. Antoine Residence for four years prior to retiring. She was also a Homemaker.
James F. Baron
CUMBERLAND - James F. "Jim" Baron, 57, of Bear Hill Road, died Monday, January 5th, at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of seventeen years of Denise Perreault.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of Mary M. (Wilkie) Baron of Lincoln, and the late Robert Baron, he grew up in Lincoln and had lived in Cumberland for the past twenty years.
Raymond G. Renaud
CUMBERLAND - Raymond G. "Ray" Renaud, 82, of Cumberland and formerly of Woonsocket passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015, after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Rachel (Perron) Renaud. They were happily married for 59 years. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Rena (Plante) Renaud.
Denise I. Garrahan
PROVIDENCE - Denise I. Garrahan, 67, of Providence, RI passed away on January 6, 2015 at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
She was the loving wife to John Garrahan.
She was born in Woonsocket RI, a daughter of the late William Sr., & Loretta (Glode) Langlois.
Denise was a resident of Providence, formerly of Burrillville.
Besides her husband she is survived by son Timothy E. Garrahan, siblings Victoria Boucher, Sandra Niles, William, Richard and David Langlois, and her cat Baby.
Muriel P. Caron
WOONSOCKET - Muriel P. (Biron) Caron 83, formerly of Bernon St. died peacefully with her daughters by her side on Friday, January 9th at Woonsocket Health Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Caron with whom she celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary, June 6, 2013. Born in Woonsocket, July 28, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Marcel and Emma (Rivet) Biron.
Muriel worked in retail for most of her life at several area businesses including CVS. She enjoyed needlework and cake decorating. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.
Yvette M. Aubin
WOONSOCKET - Yvette M. (Frappier) Aubin 84, of Elm St. died Friday, January 9th at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph Aubin. Born in Woonsocket, July 13, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Argentine (Germain) Frappier. Yvette was a bookkeeper for Gaulin Travel and Conway Bus Tours for many years.
She is survived by her sons Marcel and Roger Aubin both of Woonsocket and Paul Aubin and his wife Patricia of Smithfield, and a sister Helene Dufault of Woonsocket.
WOONSOCKET - Helene Champagne 97, of Woonsocket died Wednesday, January 7th, in the Friendly Home. Her funeral with visitation will be held Monday January 12th, at 9:00 AM in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery. Helene was the sister of Sr. Pauline Champagne who died January 9, 2015, in Canada, they will be celebrating their Masses of Christian Burial simultaneously on Monday.
Sarah B. Hayes
LINCOLN - Sarah B. Hayes, 44, of Great Road passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Peter J. Tarmey and the loving mother of Margaret E. "Maggie" Tarmey.
Born in Providence, the loving daughter of Robert J. and Nancy (Kyle) Hayes of Lincoln, she had lived in Lincoln all of her life.
She was a 1988 graduate of Lincoln High School and was a graduate of Sawyer Business School. She was a member of Lime Rock Baptist Church, Lincoln.
Paul O. Roy
WOONSOCKET - Paul O. Roy, age 78, died in the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on Monday, January 5, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on May 6, 1936, he was the son of the late Pierre and Merilda (Gagne) Roy. He was raised and educated in Canada, but returned to the United States in 1960, settling in Woonsocket. He remained in Woonsocket until 2009, when he and his wife moved to North Smithfield, Rhode Island.
