Ernest L. Jolicoeur, Sr.
NO. SMITHFIELD- Ernest L. "Ernie" Jolicoeur, Sr., 70, of No. Smithfield, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Beverly A. (Reilly) Jolicoeur, whom he married May 21, 1966.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Telesphore and Stella (Aucliar) Jolicoeur.
CUMBERLAND- Elizabeth (Barbour) Bonollo, 71, of Mohawk Street, passed away Thursday at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Kenneth N. Bonollo who passed away two weeks ago.
Born in Clayton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lois (Stevens) Barbour.
She resided in Cumberland for the past 56 years, previously residing in North Carolina.
Mrs. Bonollo was employed as Quality Control Inspector for the Premier Thread Company of Bristol, RI for over 25 years until her retirement.
Roland A. Desjarlais
PROVIDENCE - Roland A. Desjarlais, Captain USMC (Ret.) husband, father, grandfather, and brother, died on Monday April 7, 2014 surrounded by family at The Phillip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI at the age of 83. He was the son of Emile and Clarinda (Cartier) Desjarlais (deceased) of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and was predeceased by siblings Cecile Jalbert, Doris Desjarlais and Gerard Desjarlais.
Dianne L. Fitch
CUMBERLAND - Dianne L. Fitch, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket after a brief illness. She was the wife of Kenneth P. Fitch and they would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on August 16.
Born in Milford, MA, she was the daughter of Marrie (Mather) Thompson-Biggs of Acworth, GA and the late John Dillon of Buzzards Bay, MA. She resided in Cumberland for the past 40 years, previously residing in Franklin, MA. Mrs. Fitch was employed as a School Teacher for the Cumberland School Department for 25 years.
Mabel E. Riel
WOONSOCKET - Mabel E. Riel, 67, of Cumberland Hill Road died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Mabel E. (Adam) Riel, she had lived in Manville for most of her life before moving to Woonsocket 12 years ago.
Miss Riel worked at the Homestead Group (formerly the Arc of Northern RI) before retiring
BLACKSTONE- Stephen R. Allaire, Sr., of Blackstone died peacefully in his home on April 7th at the age of 94 surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 10th, 1919, the son of Darius Allaire and Emma (Lavallee) Allaire. He was one of nine children.
Theresa P. Smith
JOHNSTON - Theresa P. (Trudeau) Smith, 73, of Apple Tree Lane, died Tuesday April 1, 2014 in Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harold Smith.
Karen F. Kozimor
WHITINSVILLE- Kozimor, Karen F. of Whitinsville, formerly of Waltham, died peacefully on March 22, 2014 at age 65.
She was born in Bellingham, the daughter of Frank Kozimor and the late Dorothy (Freeman) Kozimor.
A graduate of Northeast Broadcasting School in Boston, Karen enjoyed a long career with many top radio stations in New England, most recently as Traffic Director at WCRB. She was passionate about animals and supported Friends of Animals and the MSPCA.
David W.R. Salois
BURRILLVILLE- David W.R. Salois, 28, died April 2, 2014 in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Deanna M. (Pelletier) Salois.
Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Normand J. Jr. and Dorothy P. (Riordan) Salois of Pascoag.
Donna Marie Desrochers
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Donna Marie (Lambert) Desrochers, 58, of North Smithfield, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Maria Christina (Suffoletto) Lambert.
