Michael J. Hroszowy
RIVIERA BEACH, FL - Michael Joseph Hroszowy, 77, of Riviera Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the hospice unit of West Palm Hospital. Born in Blackstone, Massachusetts, to John and Stefania Hrossowyc (Zariczny), he lived most of his life in Blackstone and Riviera Beach.
Violette T. Leclaire
BELLINGHAM - Violette T. (Surprenant) Leclaire, 87, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 3, 2014 with loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman T. Leclaire since 1951 to his death on November 3, 1995. Born in Woonsocket, RI on May 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ella (Lavimodierre) Surprenant.
WAKEFIELD - Erika Pelletier ("Mumma"), 82, formerly of Old Great Road, North Smithfield died early Sunday Morning at home with her family.
Jeannine L. Cardin
WOONSOCKET - Jeannine L. (Gagnon) Cardin 84, formerly of Blackstone, died peacefully Sunday in St. Antoine Residence. She was a Blackstone resident for nearly sixty years. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Adolphe and Blanche (Courtemanche) Gagnon.
Mrs. Cardin was a 4H club leader in Blackstone for many years, and throughout her life maintained a great fondness for animals and birds. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. Above all, she had a great love of family and children.
Gloria L. Richer
WOONSOCKET - Gloria L. Richer, 93, of Logee St., Woonsocket, died peacefully Saturday evening at Woonsocket Health Care Center. She was the loving wife of the late Robert D. Richer. They were married for 63 years at the time of his passing on April 16, 2014.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Antoinette (Lamothe) Lawrence. She was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life.
Mrs. Richer was employed at several doctors' offices and local banks, Auger's Men's store and ACS Industries. She was also a professional seamstress for many years.
Lucille J. Lefebvre
WOONSOCKET - Lucille J. Lefebvre, 80, of Woonsocket died Saturday morning surrounded by her family at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island in Providence. She was the wife of the late Harold J. Lefebvre. They were married for 60 years at the time of his passing in 2012.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Lillian (Laroche) Berard. She was a lifelong resident of the city and attended St. Clare School.
Lorraine B. Martin
WOONSOCKET - Lorraine B. (Fleurant) Martin, 82, of Spring Water Drive, Woonsocket passed away peacefully on October 31, 2014 at Miriam Hospital after 14 years of battling scleroderma with courage and grace, surrounded by her devoted husband, who was her constant companion, and her loving family. She was the beloved bride of Roger M. Martin for 58 years of happy, loving marriage.
WOONSOCKET - Henrietta (McMarriss) Farrow, 71 of Front St. died October 25, 2014 in Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Willie Farrow Jr.
Born in Newberry, South Carolina, daughter of the late Henry and Sarah (Thacker) McMarris.
Henrietta, worked for the former US Rubber and for the Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation, as an Nurses Aide until becoming disabled.
She was a member of St. James Baptist Church and served as deaconess of the church, and missionary of the church. Henrietta also headed the Women's Day Committee.
Michael F. Labrecque
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Michael F. Labrecque, 70, of Providence Pike, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center, with his family by his side, after a long illness. He was the loving husband of Susan (Notarangelo) Labrecque.
Born in Bellingham, MA, son of the late George and Cecile (Beauregard) Labrecque.
Mike worked as a plumber, first being self employed for 12 years as Mike the Plumber,then worked as a plumber for Landmark Medical Center, for 22 years.
Jeannette M. Rivet
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Jeannette M. Rivet, 92 of North Smithfield, died Tuesday at RI Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of late Robert R. Rivet. They had been married 49 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late William and Emilie (Dubois) Peloquin.
Mrs. Rivet was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family very much. She was a member of the Trinity Club and The Apres Midi Club.
