Constance Z. M. Potvin
WOONSOCKET - Constance Z. M. Potvin, 85, formerly of Fox Brook Manor, Blackstone died Friday afternoon at The Friendly Home.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Xavier and Zerilda (Ferron) Potvin. She was also the daughter of the late Mary Stella (Lambert) Potvin who raised her as her own following the death of her mother. She was raised in Woonsocket and resided for most of her life in Millville and Blackstone.
Constance was employed at Berkshire-Hathaway for many years. She was a longtime communicant of St. Augustine Church in Millville.
Mary R. Titherington
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Mary R. (Pfefferle) Titherington of North Smithfield passed away on October 11, 2014. She was the wife of the late Stephen Zifcak and William Howard Titherington. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Bertha (Tavernier) Pfefferle.
Armand L. Joly Sr.
CUMBERLAND - Armand L. "Chuck" Joly Sr., 86, of Cumberland passed away Saturday at the St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Calixte and Orise (Forest) Joly. He resided in Cumberland for most of his life.
Mr. Joly was employed as Regional Sales Manager for the Firestone, now Tire Pros for over 40 years. He was with the Cumberland Police Department as an Auxillary Police Officer.
Adrienne C. Constantineau
BELLINGHAM - Adrienne C. Constantineau 88, of North Kingstown RI, formerly of Bellingham MA, passed away October 8, 2014 at Roberts Health Center in North Kingstown.
She was the wife to the late Adrien Constantineau and the late Raymond Constantineau.
She was born in Nasonville RI, daughter of the late Eugene & Elodia (Varin) Desjarlais.
Adrienne was a loving homemaker, who enjoyed gardening, knitting, and crocheting.
Andrew J. Heroux
WOONSOCKET - Andrew J. Heroux, 83, of Woonsocket, died peacefully with his family at his side Wednesday night, Oct. 8, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the beloved husband of Rosebelle (Allam) Heroux.
Born in Woonsocket, March 13, 1931, he was a son of the late Rene and Stella (Lefort) Heroux.
He was an Air Force Veteran serving in Tripoli during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Grinnell Fire Protection Systems; as Engineering Manager, New England District. He was a graduate of Woonsocket High School, Class of 1949.
WOONSOCKET - Sophie (Glowacki) Calo, 92, formerly of Crepeau Court, Front St., died Sunday , October 6, 2014, in the Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Dominic Calo.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Joseph and Tekla (Shewchuck) Glowacki.
Sophie worked as a stitcher, for the former US Rubber for 28 years, and on the assembly line for Bancroft for 11 years, prior to retiring. She loved to dance, and enjoyed teaching line dancing at the Senior Center.
She was a former member of AARP, St Joseph Seniors Citizens, RSVP, Crepeau Court Club.
WOONSOCKET - Jeannette (Arsenault) Gariepy, 96, of St. Agnes Ave. died, Thursday, October 9, 2014, in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Gerald Gariepy.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Peter and Exema (Dufresne) Arsenault.
Jeannette worked as a Quality Supervisor for Jacob Finklesteins, for 40 years, prior to retiring.
Dolly F. Miner
BURRILLVILLE - Dolly F. Miner 80, of Nasonville RI., passed away October 9, 2014 at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
She was the wife of Charles Miner.
She was born in Kendall Hook NY., daughter of the late Louis & Doris (Lamphear) Shambo.
Deborah T. Barchie
WOONSOCKET - Deborah T. (Provost) Barchie, 53, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, October 9, 2014. She was the former wife of Daniel J. Barchie. Born in Stamford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Carmela (Bonetti) Provost.
