Kenneth W. Lundvall
ABINGTON, PA. - Kenneth W. Lundvall, 71, of S. Abington died Saturday at Abington Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was born in Mendon, Ma. the son of John Lars Lundvall and Phebe Briggs Lundvall.
He graduated from Mendon High School, attended DeVry Technical Institute and Moody Bible Institute, and Bible Institute of New England. While living in Ma. he worked for 32 years for Commonwealth Gas Co. (now N-Star) as a natural gas dispatcher. He lived for 11 years in S. Abington Twp.
Richard A. Laforest Sr.
WOONSOCKET - Richard A. Laforest Sr. 68, of Second Ave. died Tuesday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Katherine (Thompson) Laforest.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Walter and Marie Anne (Rainville) Laforest. Richard was a maintenance mechanic for the City of Woonsocket for over ten years before retiring. He was a member of the Cercle Laurier, he loved hunting and fishing and was an avid bingo player.
Christopher M. Coley, Sr.
WOONSOCKET - Christopher M. Coley, Sr., 43, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of LaTanya M. (Palshan) Coley. Chris was born in Pawtucket, but lived in Woonsocket for most of his life. He was the son of the late Michael E. Coley and Marie I. (Cabica) Coley of Harrisville.
Jacqueline R. Carpenter
CUMBERLAND - Jacqueline R. (Anderson) Carpenter, 79, formerly of Abbott Run Valley Road died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at North Bay Manor, Smithfield. She was married 38 years to the late Cumberland Police Captain Jesse F. Carpenter.
Born in Attleboro, MA, a daughter of the late Donald P. Anderson, Sr. and the late Lillian (Buxton) Anderson, she had lived in Cumberland for over 50 years. She had many interests including horses, camping, needlework, quilting and painting. She was a member of Quilting Clubs and the 4-H Club.
BLACKSTONE, MA - Lucien Bourbonniere, 80, of Blackstone, formerly of Bellingham and Woonsocket, passed away on Oct. 7, 2012 at UMASS Memorial.
Born in Woonsocket on Oct. 13, 1931, he was the son of the late Conrad and Marie (Beauparlant) Bourbonniere.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18th at 11AM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting time from 10 to 11AM prior to service. Burial will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery.

George E. Brin
WOONSOCKET - George E. Brin 85, of Greene St. died Friday at home. He was the husband of the late Lucille (Brousseau) Brin.
WOONSOCKET - Glenis Hynes, 95, of Mendon Rd., Woonsocket and formerly of Cumberland passed away Saturday in the Ballou Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Hynes.
Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lavenia Whalley. She resided in Cumberland for many years before moving to Woonsocket 23 years ago.
She was a weaver employed at various area mills for many years. Mrs. Hynes was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She leaves a son Joseph B. Hynes and his wife Lorraine of Cumberland.
Elizabeth M. Morin
BLACKSTONE, MA. - Elizabeth M. "Betty" (O'Brien) Morin, 88, of Blackstone, MA died Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, RI. Her husband of 20 years, Albert E. Morin, Sr., predeceased her.
Born in Whitinsville, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Ella (Hickey) O'Brien.
Betty was a teacher's aide for the Blackstone-Millville Regional School District for 10 years, retiring in 1993. She was a communicant of St. Paul's Church. Betty was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
WOONSOCKET - Joan (Maney) Carbone, 67, of Woonsocket, died October 12, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Marguerite (Kiley) Maney.
William A. Steere, Jr.
BURRILLVILLE- Steere, William A., Jr., 58, of Mapleville, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Marleene L. (Stockwell) Steere of Mapleville.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of William A. Steere, Sr. of Mapleville and the late Dorothy (Smith) Steere.
