Brother Normand R. Goudreau, S.C.

PASCOAG- Brother Normand R. Goudreau, S.C., 68, of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Provincial House, Pascoag, RI, died after a courageous battle with cancer on March 21, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI.
Born in Central Falls, RI, he was the son of the late William and Cora (Chagnon) Goudreau.
Stephen R. Perron
WOONSOCKET- Stephen R. Perron, 56 of Woonsocket died Tuesday March 12, 2013 at home. He is the husband of Debra (Felicio) Perron.
Born in Woonsocket he is the son of the late Gerard and Adele (Lavendier) Perron. He has been a Woonsocket resident his whole life.
A Navy Veteran, Stephen worked for the Labor Union for 10 years.
Beside his wife, Stephen is survived by his daughters, Crystal and Kelly Yarborough; brothers, Ted, George, Lenny and Roy Perron; sisters, Ann Richer, Marguerite Lesardo and Flora Perron and many beloved nieces and nephews.

NORTH SMITHFIELD- June M. (Rogozyn) St. Louis, 76, of North Smithfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Damien A. St. Louis.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on June 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia (Poznanski) Rogozyn.
CUMBERLAND- Elsie (Waterman) Schofield, 88, of Bear Hill Road died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Grandview Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Richard Schofield.
A lifelong resident of Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Mildred (Jenckes) Waterman.
Mrs. Schofield was a registered nurse at the former Woonsocket Hospital, now Landmark Medical Center, for 22 years before retiring.
Wilfrid H. Therrien
WOONSOCKET - Wilfrid H. Therrien, 90, of Fox Brook Manor, died March 17, 2013 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Anita (Bilodeau) Therrien. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late John F. and Diana (Rousseau) Therrien.
Walter L. Vermette
WOONSOCKET - Walter L. Vermette 85, of Mendon Rd. died Sunday March 17th at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Pauline C. (Caron) Vermette.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Alfred and Alice G. (Handfield) Vermette. Walter was a bartender, office manager and co-owner of his family's business the former Vermette's Restaurant. Walter started working in the family's restaurant at a very young age and continued throughout his life. He served in the US Navy and Air Force during the Korean War.
Robert R. Drolet
BURRILLVILLE - Robert R. Drolet, 67, of North Rd, Pascoag, died Monday, March 18, 2013 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Carol A. (Saccoccio) Drolet whom he married March 1, 1974. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Alice (LaForest) Drolet.
Robert worked for North Uxbridge Auto of Uxbridge, MA. He was a member of the Army National Guard.
Shirley S. Woodis
BURRILLVILLE - Shirley S. (Simpson) Woodis, 72, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of David L. Woodis, whom she married May 23, 1959. Born in Pascoag, she was the daughter of the late John and Mable (Lanigan) Simpson.
Shirley retired from Bank of America and worked in Customer Service. She was a past member of the Eastern Star and Worthy Matron, member of Business & Professional Women's Club, member and past president of the Burrillville Arts Association and active member of the Community Baptist Church.
Emilia C. Dufresne
WOONSOCKET - Emilia C. Dufresne, 93, of First Ave., Woonsocket died Friday at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Francois and Cecile (Charpentier) Dufresne. She lived in Woonsocket for most of her life and also resided in Manville for several years.
Emilia was employed at Owens-Corning Fiberglass Corporation for over 30 years until retiring in 1982.
Emilia was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Jeanne d'Arc Trudeau
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Jeanne d'Arc (Bergeron) Trudeau, 88, of North Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Armand Trudeau. Born in Cumberland, RI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Exelia (Mercier) Bergeron.
