Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Roszkowski) Rumas.

NEWPORT- Robert A. Homer, 77, lifelong Newport and Fifth Ward resident, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011. He was the husband of Alice E. (Lovell) Homer, father of Robert A. and William C. Homer, grandfather of Kathryn and Erin Homer all of Middletown, RI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 2, at 10am in St. Augustin Church, Carroll Ave, Newport. Burial at St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

WOONSOCKET- Anita Y.(Montmarquette) Howard 69, of Loring St. died Monday at home.
She was born in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Leopold and Vitaline (Menard) Montmarquette.
Anita was a generous person who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and also enjoyed baking, painting and writing poetry.

BELLINGHAM- Audrey Y. (Chick) Lake, of Pulaski Blvd. passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 10th She was the loving wife of Arthur Locke.
Born July 12, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Virgue A. & Kitty (Wasylean) Chick, she resided in Bellingham most of her life and was also a resident of Maine.
Besides her husband she leaves 3 daughters Roya, Roxanne, & Zarrin also 2 stepbrothers Gary & William Chick. Along with eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

EAST GREENWICH- Bourbonniere, Loretta R. (Menard), 88, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Bourbonniere.
Born in Canada; she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Eveline Menard.
A life-long Democrat, Loretta was active politically through the 1960's/70's and served on the Board of Canvassers in Woonsocket.

BURRILLVILLE- Gerard M. McGee, 67, resident of North Smithfield passed away at his residence, on April 21, 2011.
Loving husband of Linda (Lorenz) McGee.
Born in Woonsocket RI, a son of Doris (Caron) McGee and the late Maurice McGee.
Gerard was a grocery manager for the former Almac's Supermarket Co. for many years, until its closing, and then he went to work at the Hess Co. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam War. He enjoyed deep sea fishing.

Born in Woonsocket on October 24, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Pryor W. and Bertha (Chapman) Hall and sister of the late John Pryor Hall and Sgt. Francis T. Hall.

BLACKSTONE, MA- Alexander Stanley Makowski, 91, of 79 Mendon St. passed away in his sleep on Saturday April 23, 2011.
He was the husband of the late Veronica (Grabiec) Makowski.
Alexander was born on June 2nd, 1919 in Douglas, MA., he was the son of ten children to the late Mr. & Mrs John Makowski of Douglas, MA.
Alexander was the loving father to three children, Carol Makowski of Cranston, RI, The late John Makowski of Blackstone and Dennis Makowski and his wife Colette, also of Blackstone.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Raymond and Orpha (Carpentier) Menard.
Doris was a Homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends.
