BELLINGHAM- William D. "Bill" Nelson, 78, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Metrowest Medical Center at Framingham Union Hospital, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 55 years of Loretta J. (Leach) Nelson.

Norman E. Comtois
BURRILLVILLE- Norman E. Comtois, 75, resident of Harrisville where he was a lifelong resident, died April 14, 2011 at Bayberry Commons Nursing Home.
Loving husband of Leona (Chauvin) Comtois.
Born in Harrisville RI., a son of the late Jeannette Comtois.
Norman worked for the RI Department of Transportation from where he retired.
Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter Marsha Comtois.

WOONSOCKET- Laura (Rattelle) Petrin, 99, of Cumberland Hill Road and formerly of Cumberland died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Oakland Grove Health Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late William J. Petrin.
Born in Harrisville, a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Jane (Theroux) Rattelle, she had lived in Cumberland for over 55 years before moving to Woonsocket.
She was a communicant of Historic St. Joseph's Church, Cumberland and a former member of the Chimney Hill Tenants Association.

PROVIDENCE- Jean M. Hebert, 93, until recently a resident at St. Elizabeth's Court, 109 Melrose Street Providence, died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 100 Borden St., Providence, RI.
Born in Warden, PQ, Canada, he was the son of the late John Baptiste Hebert and Oiada (Tremblay) Hebert. He was the husband of the late Pauline T. (LeRoux) Hebert.
Mr. Hebert, who was employed for many years at Peter Pan Ice Cream Co., Woonsocket, retired over 35 years ago.
Gloria L. Lambert
CUMBERLAND- Gloria L. Lambert, 80, of Cumberland, died Wednesday, April 13th, at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Raymond J. Lambert.
Born in Manville, she was a daughter of the late Henri and Laura (Descouteaux) Laliberte. She was a resident of Cumberland for most of her life.
Mrs. Lambert was employed by Finklestien's in Woonsocket for several years.
Walter M. Nowak
WOONSOCKET- Walter M. Nowak, Jr. 92, of 262 Poplar St. passed away on Wednesday at the Woonsocket Health Center surrounded by his five grandchildren. He was the loving husband of Leona M. (Pariseau) Nowak.
Walter & Leona celebrated their 63rd. Wedding Anniversary in 2010.
Born January 16, 1919 in Bellingham, MA. He was the son of the late Walter M. & Victoria (Mikula) Nowak.
Walter was a Mailman for many years for the U.S. Postal Service before retiring. He proudly, was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater.

NO. SMITHFIELD- Alfred "Fritz" J. DiSalvo, 87, of Merrimac Rd., died Thursday, April 21, 2011 in St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield. He was the husband of Shirley L. (Bray) DiSalvo whom he married June 19, 1948.
Born in No. Providence, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Antonia (Calci) DiSalvo.
Helen Lillian Demers
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Helen Lillian (Foley) Demers, lifelong North Smithfield resident, age 93, serenely passed to the other side, surrounded by her children, on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
Predeceased by her husband, Harold V. Demers, Sr. They were married in 1942 and began their family of one daughter and two sons, Jan Demers of North Smithfield, formerly of Washington, DC, Harold V. and his wife, Diane of Greenville and Robert J. of Scituate, Massachusetts.
