WOONSOCKET- Antonio Dias, 97, of Warwick St., died Sunday, April 3, 2011 in St. Antoine Residence, with his family by his bedside. He was the husband of the late Maria (Gaspar) Dias, with whom he emigrated from Portugal to the U.S. in 1961. He was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (do Carmo) Dias.
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he and his family returned to Portugal when he was a young child.

WOONSOCKET- Lillian E. (Cournoyer) Therien 85, formerly of Woonsocket and Jensen Beach, FL, died Monday at The Holiday in Lincoln. She was the wife of the late Armand F. Therien.
Mrs. Therien was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Giguere) Cournoyer.
She worked as a meat wrapper for Stop and Shop Supermarkets for many years. Lillian was an avid card player and enjoyed fishing with her husband.

WOONSOCKET- Marc C. Lauzon, 63, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Westerly Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 43 years of Suzanne H. (Boucher) Lauzon.

WOONSOCKET- JoAnn (Paquette) Wood, of Woonsocket passed away on March 29, 2011. She was the beloved wife of James Wood for 28 years.
Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of Josephine (Norek) Paquette of Woonsocket & the late Joseph Paquette.
Besides her husband & mother, she leaves a daughter Nancy Bailey & husband Scott of No. Smithfield, Her granddaughters Christy & Alyssa, grandsons Jaylyn & Neil. Her brothers Thomas, John & wife Lisa Paquette of Woonsocket, Mark & wife Rose Paquette of Chepachet, also many nieces & nephews.

GLOCESTER- Gallagher, Ernest M., 75, died unexpectedly March 25, 2011 in New Smyrna, Florida. He was the husband of the late Mary (Lange) Gallagher.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James and Edith (Spencer) Gallagher.
Mr. Gallagher resided in Glocester since 1963 and was employed by Cumberland Engineering for nearly 40 years.

WOONSOCKET- Lillian Clayton McAlister, 86, died in Woonsocket, RI on March 14.
She was born in Boston, Mass., on July 27, 1924, daughter of Ashbel Clayton and Lillian Murphy Clayton.
She leaves her husband, Glendon McAlister, her brother, Paul Clayton, of West Roxbury, Mass., her cousin Frances Hurley and husband, David, of Braintree, Mass., 6 children, and 7 grand and great-grandchildren.

WOONSOCKET- Murielle D. (Laquerre) Biagetti, 90, of St. Joseph St., died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Mt. St. Francis Health Center. She was the wife of the late Silvio B. Biagetti.
Born in Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Hermina (Bourgeois) Laquerre.
Mrs. Biagetti worked as a Deputy Town Clerk for the Town of Lincoln, retiring in 1976.

WOONSOCKET- Clara B. (Giles) Jackson, 93, of formerly of Second Ave. died Friday April 1, 2011, in the Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Mannings, South Carolina, daughter of the late Fred and Easter (McKnight) Giles.
Clara worked in Housekeeping for several years, prior to retiring.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruby Dandy, of Woonsocket, and one grandson Brian Dandy, of Woonsocket.
She was also the sister of the late Evelyn Scott, Rena May Lawson, and Nathanial Giles.

He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Albert and Jeannette (Laporte) Berard.

WOONSOCKET- Leo A. Rousseau, passed away on Saturday at the Pine Grove Health Ctr. in Pascoag. He was the loving husband to Jane (Chudy) Rousseau.
Born Oct. 17, 1932 in Woonsocket he was the son of the late Alfred & Armande (Gibeau) Rousseau, he resided in Woonsocket all his life.
Leo was employed at the City Dairy for 30 years, he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, 102nd ACT W Squadron in Benghazi, Libya during the Korean Conflict.
