WOONSOCKET- Gertrude B. (Benjamin) Kane, 92, of Woonsocket, died May 16, 2012 in St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield. Her husband of 34 years, Walter J. Kane, died in 1983.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Elyse and Gladys (Fitzgerald) Benjamin.

WOONSOCKET- Rita M. (Donati) Delasanta, 101, of St. Cecile Ave. died, Thursday May 17, 2012 in the Trinity Health Center, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Duelio Delasanta.
Born in Pesaro Italy, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Catherina (Mengarelli) Donati. Rita came to the United States at the age of two, and resided in Woonsocket since that time.
She worked as a Baker for Leo's Bakery for 17 years prior to retiring.
She was a former member of the Italian Workingmen's Club, St. Joseph Senior Citizens, and the Marchigiano Club.

NORTH SMITHFIELD- Harold W. Rusty Hunt, 53, of No. Smithfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday at the Home & Hospice Care Ctr. in Providence. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Reynolds) Hunt.
Born, Sept. 15, 1958 in El Paso, TX., he was the son of the late Harold A. & Margaret (Marmaud) Hunt.
He was a member of the Polish American Club in Blackstone, he loved plant & vegetable gardening, he was a avid cook & fisherman, but most of all he loved spending time with family. He will be missed dearly by everyone.

LINWOOD, MA- Elizabeth A. (Betty Ann) Walsh, 64, of Church Street, Linwood, MA died Friday, May 18, 2012 at home.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Richard V. and Katherine T. (Whalen) Walsh.
For the past 20 years Betty Ann was affiliated with Alternatives Unlimited in Whitinsville, MA. She was also a member of the Uxbridge Women's Club.

WOONSOCKET- Alice E. (Donais) Ventry, 82, of Dana St., formerly of the Meadows, in North Smithfield, died Monday May 14, 2012, at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late George Ventry.
Born in Providence, daughter of the late Albert and Irene (Trudel) Donais.
Alice worked as an assembler for CD Burns for several years prior to retiring.

WOONSOCKET- Eva M. Allard 80, of Larch St. died Tuesday at St. Antoine Residence.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Valmore and Rose (Glaude) Allard. Eva was a machine operator at A T Cross for twenty five years before retiring in 1987. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and needlepoint.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also the sister of the late Leo J. and Robert V. Allard.

LEHIGH ACRES, FLORIDA- Russell A. Jones, 73, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 with his loving family by his side.
He was born September 17, 1938 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Thomas and Mary Ann (MacDougall) Jones and was the proud stepson of Eugene Walton.

MERRIMACK, NH- Rita (Varieur) Chapdelaine 94, formerly of 218 Pond St., Woonsocket, died Tuesday in the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was the wife of the late Arthur Chapdelaine.
She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Oliver and Roseanna (Lamoureux) Varieur.
Mrs. Chapdelaine was a homemaker and a member of the Woonsocket Sr. Center, and the St. Joseph's Sr. Citizens Club.

Born in Providence he was the son of Roger A. Fortune Jr. and his wife Debra of Chepachet and the late Luanne T. (Cullerton) Fortune.
He worked as a Manager for Burger King and also worked for Polseno Mike A. & Sons Fancy Apples of Pascoag. He was a 1999 graduate of Ponagansett High School. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, his woodshop and basketball.

BELLINGHAM- Allen G. Crawford, Sr., 77, of Bellingham, MA for 50 years, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Kindred Hospital, Stoughton, MA with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 52 years of Joan E. (Tabor) Crawford.
Born in Weymouth, MA on May 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Stanley G. and Lillian Rose (Dow) Crawford of Quincy and was raised by the late Jessie and Preston Farrington of Franklin.
