GOLDEN VALLEY AZ- Shirley Chamberland, 61 born in Woonsocket R.I. Sept 21, 1949 to Arthur and Jeannette (Virgillio) Lauzon. Passed away Feb 16, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV with her family was at her side.
She lived in California for 34 years until making her home in Golden Valley AZ.
She is survived by her husband Roland of 44 yrs, 2 sons Roland Jr and Steven Chamberland, daughter Lisamarie Hall, daughter-in-law Dionne Chamberland, son-in-law Ronald Hall, 4 grandsons Roland III, Daniel, Mark and Brian, and her brother Arthur Lauzon of Swansea, MA.

PASCOAG- Brother Philip A. Leroux, S.C., (Brother Edmond), 82, of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, Provincial House, Pascoag, Rhode Island, died unexpectedly March 8, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, RI.
Born in Barrowsville (Norton), Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Edmond Leroux and Luna Marie (Gagner) Leroux.

JOHNSTON- Curtin Lillian Doris, 91, passed away peacefully on March 8th surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Providence, February 23, 1920 to Euclid and Cordelia (Auger) Benoit, Lillian was a graduate of Hope High School and worked for the New England Telephone Company.
Irving C. Vose
WOONSOCKET- Irving C. Vose, 84, of Woonsocket, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Mt. Saint Francis Health Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Moore) Vose.
Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Fred and Marion (Spellman) Vose. He lived most of his life in Cumberland.
Judith A. Fortier
WOONSOCKET- Judith A. Fortier 68, of Coe St. died Sunday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Roger Fortier.
Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeannette (Landreville) Trant.
Judy was an assembler at General Electric for over twenty years before retiring five years ago.
She is survived by two brothers Robert J. Trant of Woonsocket and Donald Trant of Blackstone, MA and a sister Pamela Haskell of Woonsocket.

Richard A. Mundy
NO. SMITHFIELD- Richard A. Mundy, 62, of No. Smithfield, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at home.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late George J. and Yvonne (Clouette) Mundy.
A Coast Guard Veteran, Mr. Mundy worked as an industrial equipment salesman and technician. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.
He is survived by two sons, Jason Mundy and his wife Nyssa Mundy of Cumberland, Joshua Mundy of Philadelphia, PA and three grandchildren, Sasha, Ella and Georgia Mundy.
Raymond G. Allard
WOONSOCKET- Raymond "Rollo" G. Allard 83, formerly of 429 East School St. died Tuesday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Claire (St. Germain) Allard.
Mr. Allard was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Rodolphe and Flora (Desrosiers) Allard. He was an assembler for the Chrysler Motor Corporation for over twenty years. Mr. Allard was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Woonsocket Lodge of Elks #850, the Cercle Laurier and and a lifetime member of the Par-X Club.

Mary Dobeck
Mrs. Mary (Sandel) Dobeck, 96, formerly of May St., Blackstone, died March 4, 2011 at The Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Stanley F. Dobeck.
Born in Conemaugh, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Deren) Sandel. Mary was a resident of Franklin and later settled in Blackstone when she retired.
Mary worked as a cook for the Franklin Public School system for 20 years. She also catered private parties.
Mary was a member of the Catholic Woman's Club and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Franklin, MA.
Robert E. Miller, Sr.
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Robert E. "Butch" Miller, Sr., 79, of Green St., Slatersville, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Oakland Grove Health Care Center, Woonsocket. He was the loving husband of Lucille E. (Desplaines) Miller.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late William E. and Alma (Nelson) Miller.
A Marine Veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Miller worked for Wyman Gordon, Grafton, MA as a Foreman and instrument repair technician.
Marshall W. Sloat
LINCOLN- Marshall W. Sloat, 74, of Lincoln, died Saturday, March 5 at the Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Carolyn Schofield Sloat, to whom he had been married since 1957.
Born in Greenwich, CT, he was the son of the late Walter D. and Camilla (Baxter) Sloat. He grew up in Rowayton, CT and had lived in Lincoln since 1962.
Mr. Sloat was a Warehouse Supervisor for the Elliot Group. He had attended the University of Connecticut and served in the U.S. Army in the Military Police from 1960-1962.
