NORTH SMITHFIELD- Leo W. Fleury, Sr., 84, of Providence Pike, North Smithfield, died Sunday at Greenville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Greenville. He was the husband of Helen (Fontaine) Fleury whom he married October 20, 1945.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Herve and Rena (Bergeron) Fleury.

NORTH SMITHFIELD John A. Lombardo, 63, of Elizabeth Ave., No. Smithfield died Dec. 19, 2010 at Landmark Medical Center.
Born Nov. 14, 1947 in Woonsocket, a son of Dorothy (LeBeau) Lombardo of No. Smithfield and the late Angelo Lombardo.
John worked for the former Miller Electric in Woonsocket for 15 years. He also worked as a bus driver for many local companies and also for the RIDE bus company.
John was a dedicated animal lover and donated on a weekly basis to the North Smithfield Animal Shelter.

WOONSOCKET- Helen M. (LaRue) Dixon, 89, of Pond St., died Friday, December 17, 2010 in The Friendly Home, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Dixon.
Born in Everett, MA, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Margaret (Hansen) LaRue.

BURRILLVILLE- Courtemanche, Emile A. died Monday in hospice care at the St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucille (Blanchard) Courtemanche of Pascoag.
Mr. Courtemanche was father of the late Diane C. Lang and leaves a son-in-law, Gregory J. Lang of Cranston.
Born in North Attleboro, MA to the late Edmond and Yvonne (Beauchene) Courtemanche, he is also survived by his sister Jeannette Howard of Whitinsville, MA. He was predeceased by his brothers Arthur, Maurice, and Hector, and by his sister Madeleine Beauregard.

Robert N. Poirier, Sr.

CUMBERLAND- Robert N. Poirier, Sr., Mendon Rd., passed peacefully with his five sons at his side, on Sunday, December 19, 2010 in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Catherine Thatcher (O'Connell) Poirier and the late Helene (Caine) Poirier.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Arthur C. and Mena (Bazinet) Poirier.
He worked as a mechanical inspector for the former Sandvik Industries Lincoln, retiring in 1994. A Korean War Army Veteran, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

CUMBERLAND- RICHARD, Theresa, 83, of Diamond Hill Rd, passed away December 20, 2010.She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Richard.
Born in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Henry and Yvonne (Lemay) Robideau.
She had been employed as a hairdresser for several area salons for many years before retiring. Theresa was a member of the St. Aidan Seniors and the St. John Vianney Pray Group.

WOONSOCKET- Lillian C. (Beausoleil) Chabot 88, lifelong resident of Woonsocket, died peacefully Saturday of natural causes. Wife of the late Robert L. Chabot, she is survived by three sons: Guy, of Burke, VA, Marc, of Bel Air, MD, and Peter of Old Greenwich, CT, as well as a sister Jeanne Richer of Woonsocket. She is predeceased by her daughter Diane Gagne and granddaughter Jessica Chabot. She is survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

WOONSOCKET- Louis C. "Blacky" Genereux, 89, of Bernon St, died Saturday at home. He was the husband of the late Theresa (Trudeau) Genereux.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Gaspard and Annette (Lefebve) Genereux.
Blacky worked as a self employed painter for most of his life. He retired twenty four years ago from ACS Industries. An army WWII veteran, he was a member of VFW Post 263 in Woonsocket.

WOONSOCKET- Irene A. DuBois 85, of 303 Rhodes Ave. died Saturday at RI Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francois W. DuBois.
Born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Alphonse and Aldora (Morais) Riquier, she was a homemaker for most of her life.
Mrs. DuBois was a member of the St. Germain Manor Club and the RI Blind Association.

WOONSOCKET- Lucille A. (Desrosiers) Dursin, 92, of Nursery Ave., died peacefully on Saturday, December 18, 2010 in Landmark Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Edgar J. Dursin for fifty six years.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Alice (Wade) Desrosiers.
A lifelong city resident and homemaker, Mrs. Dursin enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and most especially spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Woonsocket.
