Dolores Snyzyk
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Dolores (Scalzo) Snyzyk, age 79, of North Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully on Tuesday Dec. 14th at the Oakland Grove Health Center in Woonsocket, RI with her family by her side.
She was born Sept. 25th 1931 in Providence, RI.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Walter Snyzyk. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Emily Scalzo.
She is survived by her son Kenneth Snyzyk and his wife Elaine of North Smithfield, RI, Grandson Justin Snyzyk and his wife Jillian, and her great granddaughter, Rachael of Pascoag, RI.

WOONSOCKET- Florence F. (Sedlar) George, 87, of Lambert St.. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday at the Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Center, She was the loving wife to the late Norman A, George.
Born Oct. 26, 1923 in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Steven & Mary (Mostecki) Sedlar.
Florence was a Telephone Operator for the New England Telephone Co. for Fifteen years retiring in 1980. She was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers.

Alice M. Joyal
NO. SMITHFIELD- Alice M. (Nadeau) Joyal, 81, a lifelong resident of Woonsocket, died peacefully, Monday, December 13, 2010 in St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Normand G. Joyal.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aglae (Laprise) Nadeau-Cournoyer.
Ernest R. Brien
PROVIDENCE- Ernest R. Brien, 86, formerly of Glendale, died November 24, 2010 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of the late Natalie (Wawszkiewicz) Brien who died in 2002.
Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Louis and Anna (Lamontagne) Brien. He was raised in Woonsocket and was a resident of Glendale for over 60 years. Mr. Brien served in the Navy during WWII.
He was employed as a welder for Blackstone Valley Gas and enjoyed gardening.
James F. Belknap
WOONSOCKET -James F. Belknap, 77 of Heather Drive, died Monday Dec. 13 at home surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Gloria (Fiscaletti) Belknap for 47 years.
Mr. Belknap was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Hartshorn) Belknap.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Jeffery Belknap of Woonsocket and Douglas Belknap of Lincoln and two grandsons, Michael and Brian.
He is survived by a brother Harold Belknap of Slatersville.
Beatrice Donalda Ducharme
INDIAN TRAI, NC- Beatrice Donalda Ducharme "Memere" was called back to the Lord on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at age 95 years. Beatrice passed peacefully at home while surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 24, 1915 in Pascoag, Rhode Island to the late Joseph and Donalda Ducharme. She was the wife of the late Joseph Roderick Ducharme.
The Ducharme's were married on May 14, 1938 and remained together for 42 years until his passing. Beatrice was a life-long resident of Rhode Island until relocating to Indian Trail, NC in 2006.

BELLINGHAM- Grace C. (Robert) Conte, 87, of Bellingham, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Conte.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on October 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Roland Z. and Florida A. (Briere) Robert.

Archambault
WOONSOCKET- Robert R. Archambault 68, of Niagara St. died Thursday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Christine (Cote) Archambault.
Mr. Archambault was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Orian and Marguerite (Deslauriers) Archambault.
He was a baker for RI Hospital for the past fifteen years. Bob had previously owned and operated Deslaurier's Bakery for twenty four years. He was Past President of the MA Retail Bakers Association, a former member of the Kiwanis Club, and former chairman of the Chamber of Commerce 7:45 Breakfast Club.
Lillian L. Vachon
WOONSOCKET- Lillian L. (Brodeur) Vachon, 87, of So. Main St., died Friday, December 10, 2010 at home. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Vachon.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Louisa (Morel) Brodeur.
A seamstress by trade, Mrs. Vachon worked at the former Woonsocket Dress Co. and retired in 1983 as a manager for the former Fashion Sportswear, Woonsocket. She was a Communicant of Holy Family Church, member of its choir and past President of its Parent Teacher Association. She enjoyed quilting and geneology.
Mary Michaud
WOONSOCKET Mrs. Mary (Descy) Michaud, 94, of Rhodes Ave., and formerly of Rathbun St., Woonsocket, died Dec. 11, 2010 at The Friendly Home.
Born July 3, 1916 in No. Chelmsford, Ma, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (St. Cyr) Descy.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed being a caretaker of the grandchildren.
She was a lifelong Woonsocket resident and former communicant of St. Ann's Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Terry Kell of Lincoln; a son Robert Michaud; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
