Glenn A. Lavallee
BURRILLVILLE- Glenn A. Lavallee, 58, of Pascoag, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 in St. Joseph's Hospital Our Lady of Fatima Unit, North Providence.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Bourbeau) Lavallee.
Glenn did carpentry work for area companies and also worked at a ranch in Wyoming.
He is survived by a brother, Joseph Lavallee Jr. of Harrisville, a sister, Debra Miller of Randolf, NJ, three nephews and two nieces. He was the brother of the late Scott Lavallee.
SOUTHERN PINES, NC- Captain Joseph Gallagher, US Navy (Retired), died peacefully at his home in Southern Pines, NC, surrounded by his family, following a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was 90 years old. A full obituary can be found at

John S. Zinno
BELLINGHAM- John S. Zinno, 61, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Milford, MA on April 8, 1950, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Dobbie) Zinno.
He was the brother of Shelley Marie Savage of South Windsor, CT, Victoria Sylvester of Northfield, NH, David Zinno and his wife Denise of Mendon, MA. He leaves his nephews and niece, Kenneth Savage, Stephany Zinno and the late Nicholas Zinno. He was the former husband of Therese (Gareau) Barry.
Bernard A. Trimble
BURRILLVILLE- Bernard A. "Zip" Trimble, 94, died Monday Feb. 13, 2012 in Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag. He was the husband of the late Beatrice M. (Brissette) Trimble.
Born in Pascoag he was the son of the late William and Olivine (Rabitor) Trimble.
Bernard worked for Pratt & Whitney of Hartford, CT, for many years as a Machinist before retiring. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, serving three tours of duty overseas, as a Heavy Mortar Crewman for Company B 394th Infantry Regiment. Before serving in the Army he worked in area mills as a Yarn Winder.
SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO- Georgette Henrietta Allard (Trahan) passed away on February 13th, 2012 in Santa Fe, New Mexico at the age of 89.
She was born on January 8th, 1923 in Danielson, CT. She was the daughter of Adelard and Otilie Trahan and grew up in Woonsocket.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years Richard T. Allard, three children, nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Veronica K. Tributino
WOONSOCKET- Veronica K. (Kavaliowskes) Tributino 75, of Crepeau Court, Woonsocket, died Sunday in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Inacio Tributino.
Mrs. Tributino was born in San Paolo, Brazil, a daughter of the late Jorge and Domicela Kavaliowskes, but had been a Woonsocket resident for the past forty years.
She and her husband were the owners of Manhattan Beverages in Woonsocket for many years before retiring in1985.
Marcel L. Lanoue
WOONSOCKET- Marcel L. "Mitch" Lanoue, 90, of Woonsocket passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Veterans Medical Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Blanche A. (Allaire) Lanoue.
Born in Milton, VT on August 10, 1921, he was the son of the late Valmore and Alvayana (Dexter) Lanoue.
Louis R. Geer
WOONSOCKET- Louis R. Geer, Sr., 61, resident of Woonsocket, formerly of the state California, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
Born July 24, 1950 in Uxbridge, MA, he was the son of the late Ralph and Patricia (Wheeler) Geer.
Louis had worked for the New England Dry Wall Company as a carpenter and in his spare time, he was a passionate fisherman.
ORLANDO FLORIDA- Michael D. Champagne, 47, died January 12, 2012 in Orlando Florida after being struck by a vehicle crossing the street.
He was Born in Woonsocket son of the late Constance and Leon Champagne.
He resided in Florida for the last 9 years. He served in the Army and Marines
He was a graduate of Woonsocket High School
He is survived by his daughter Crystal Allen of VA., 2 sisters Christine Ahern of Florida, Karen Brien of Woonsocket and 1 brother Timmy Champagne of No. Smithfield.
WOONSOCKET- Paul Masnyk, 86, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2012, at home, with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Rose (Jaryniak) Masnyk.
Born in 1925 in Poland, he was the son of the late Paul & Katarzyna (Bachurski) Masnyk. Mr. Masnyk came to this country in 1950 and settled in Woonsocket.
He was employed at Charlotte Foundry, Fairmount Foundry and 30 years at Crosby Valve & Gauge in Wrentham, MA. before retiring in 1995 to enjoy his hobby of gardening and growing roses.
