Randy Walker Sr.
NO. SMITHFIELD- Randy Walker Sr., 54, of Mechanic St., No. Smithfield passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon at Milford Regional Hospital.
He is the son of the late William L. Walker and Edith (Bulris) Reynolds.
He is survived by two children Tabitha and Randy Walker, three sisters Sybil Walker, Linda Rothwell and Cindy Gingell, three brothers Chester, Mickey and Robert Walker, along with his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Victor P. Boucher
WOONSOCKET- Victor P. Boucher, 78, of Grandview Ave, died September 6, 2011 in U. Mass Medical Center, Worcester. He was the husband of the late Carolyne (Bragg) Boucher.
Born in Pascoag, he was the son of the late Alcide and Aurore (Bergeron) Boucher.
Mr. Boucher was a Korean War Navy Veteran. He was the warehouse manager for the Wrentham Developmental Center for the past fifteen years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Veterans Association and a former member of Woonsocket Lodge of Elks #850.
Ana L. Rodriguez
WOONSOCKET- Ana L. Rodriguez, 52, of Estes St., died Tuesday September 6, 2011 at Home & Hospice Care of R.I. with her family by her side.
Born in Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Saro and Carmen (Matiaz) Rodriguez.
She worked for Potpourri Group, Inc. in Whitinsville, MA. for several years.
Ana enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, and friends
Ernest G. Cologne
WOONSOCKET - Ernest G. Cologne, 79, died at Landmark Hospital on August 24, 2011. He was the son of Ferdinand Cologne and Louise (Nadeau) Cologne). He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Carol Y. Dumond.
Born in Providence, RI, he resided in Cumberland. He was a carpenter. He leaves his two brothers, Richard Cologne of South Windsor, CT, and his wife, Sylvia, Ronald Cologne of Madison, CT and his wife Vicki. Also, his nieces, Christine and Denise, his nephews, Steven and Ronald Jr.
CUMBERLAND - Maria Pina, 92, resident of Cumberland, died peacefully September 6, 2011 at the Oakland Grove Health Center in Woonsocket.
She was born in Pawtucket RI, a daughter of the late Alfredo & Antonia (Joaquin) Pina. Maria lived in Woonsocket for fifty years where worked for the former Woonsocket Hospital as a housekeeper.
She is survived by a cousin Theresa Gil of Cumberland. She was the sister of the late Jeremy Pina and Maria Consesson and godchild of Aduzinda & Jose Gil.
Bertha B. Laquerre
WOONSOCKET - Bertha B. (Rivers) Laquerre 90, resident of Kennedy Manor, died September 1, 2011, died at home after an illness.
Beloved wife to the late Laurent Laquerre.
Born September 13, 1920 in Putnam CT, a daughter of the late William & Lena (Demars) Rivers.
Bertha worked in the yarn mills until retirement in 1985. A Woonsocket resident, previously she lived in Bellingham for fifty years. She loved family get togethers, playing bingo, going to Foxwoods, and going out to eat. She will be greatly missed.
A committal service will be held for William "Bill" Hadley on Friday, Sept. 9th at 9:30 am in St. John's Cemetery on Church St., Slatersville.
Relatives and friends invited.
CUMBERLAND- Catherine (Taran) Engert, 75, of Harriet Lane, passed away Monday at Rhode Island Hospital Providence. She was the wife of Richard J. Engert.
Born in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Catherine T. Taran.
She resided in Cumberland for the past 43 years.
She was a proud homemaker who had great joy in raising her family and enjoyed her cats Hunter and Bandit.
She was a communicant of St. John Vianney Church, Cumberland. She loved her family, and cherished her time with her grandchildren.
Doris L. McGee
WOONSOCKET- Doris L. (Caron) McGee, 89, of Woonsocket, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Oakland Grove Healthcare Center with her children by her side. She was the wife of the late Maurice G. McGee.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Francois X. and Aurore (Lussier) Caron.
Mrs. McGee was a member of Holy Family Church. She will be greatly missed.
Michael S. Scotto
PROVIDENCE- Michael S. Scotto, 80, of Smith Street, Providence, died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Constance M. (Kusnarowis) Scotto for fifty five years. A son of the late Vincenzo and Theresa (Cesario) Scotto, he was a lifelong North Smithfield resident prior to moving to Providence in 2008.
