Estelle J. O'Keefe
WOONSOCKET- Estelle J. (Allard) O'Keefe, 80, of Pond St, died on Wednesday Nov. 9, 2011 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph E. O'Keefe Jr.
Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Edmund Allard and the late Irma (Meunier) Doran.
Estelle worked as an Operator for the former Woonsocket Answering Service before retiring in 1988.
NO. SMITHFIELD- Norman Joseph Langelier, 86, of No. Smithfield, died Friday, November 11th in the St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield. He was the husband of the late Solange (Phaneuf Brassard) Langelier and the late Jeannette (Dauray) Langelier.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Henry and Alice (Brodeur) Langelier.
Mr. Langelier had lived in Newport for 30 years before moving to the St. Antoine Residence in 2003.
Jeanne "Muriel" Tessier
WOONSOCKET- Jeanne "Muriel" Tessier, 83 of Cumberland Hill Rd. died Friday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Walter "Pete" Tessier.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mena (Bazinet) Poirier.
Sylvia M. Baron
WOONSOCKET- Sylvia M. Baron 89, of St. Joseph St. Woonsocket, died Wednesday at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Wilfred Baron.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Moise and Corana (Tetreault) Gauthier.
In her youth Sylvia was a textile worker for the Guerin Mills.
She is survived by a brother Normand T. Gauthier of N. Providence, and two sisters, Murielle S. Gauthier of Woonsocket, and Viola C. Lebeau of Central Falls. She was also the sister of the late Lucien M. Gauthier.
Roland E. Bernier
BELLINGHAM - Roland E. "Joe" Bernier, 85, of Cross St. died Tue. Nov. 8, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Roland R. Lebrun
WOONSOCKET- Roland R. Lebrun, 53, of Vivian St. died Sunday November 6, 2011.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Robert Lebrun and Aldea (Beausoleil) Lebrun, of Woonsocket.
Roland worked as a Grounds Keeper for the Gloucester Country Club, and was an avid golfer.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two sons, Christopher and wife Nancy Lebrun, of Cumberland, R.I., Matthew R. Lebrun, of Burriville, R.I. One brother Richard Lebrun of Bellingham and two grandchildren and his companion, Robin Michon, of Woonsocket.
He was also the brother of the late Donald Lebrun.
Lillian D. Tatro
WOONSOCKET- Lillian D. Tatro, 91, formerly of Woonsocket, died Tuesday. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Tatro.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Bernadette (Boulard) Leclerc. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
In her early years Mrs. Tatro was employed at several area mills and later operated a catering business along with her late husband.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Parish and assisted with Coffee 'An for many years.
Roland A. Tardie Sr.
BURRILLVILLE- Roland A. Tardie Sr. 81, of Burrillville, passed away peacefully Tuesday surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lucille (Leduc) Tardie.
Though he was a Burrillville resident most of his life, he was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Joseph and Eva (Rondeau) Tardie.
He was employed by Service Contracting for many years before retiring in 1991. He was also an employee of Whiten Machine Works for many years.
Mr. Tardie served in the U.S. National Guard and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Gary W. Glatki
MURRELLS INLET- Gary W. Glatki, 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2011 in the presence of his family.
He was born on December 19, 1948, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to William and Frances Glatki.
Gary graduated high school from Mount St. Charles Academy in RI. He continued his education at the University of Rhode Island and received his Masters of Education and was a Doctoral Candidate from Boston University. For thirty four years, Gary devoted his life to teaching in the Massachusetts School System.
Thomas A. Perron
BELLINGHAM- Thomas A. Perron, 56, passed November 7th. He was the husband of Diane L. (Cardinal) Perron.
He had been employed by Stop and Shop, IGA and Andreoni Market, then retired due to illness from Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Cherie Lee Perron of New Britain, CT, a son, Thomas A. Perron of Bellingham, MA, a sister, Joanne Cranshaw of Lincoln, a brother, Rev. Robert P. Perron of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.
