GLOCESTER- Sederback, George H., 75, of Chepachet died Friday, September 30 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late, Oscar and Anna (Heggfors) Sederback.
He had graduated from the University of RI and worked at Taft Pierce Manufacturing in Woonsocket and Supfina Machine Company as a Senior Machinery Engineer before retiring in 2007.
George was also a master carpenter, woodworker and a talented musician. He was a member of Friendship Lodge #7 in Chepachet. He was an Army Veteran.

NO. SMITHFIELD- Sofia (Kyryliw) Sofia (Stasesin) Sokolski Kyryliw, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside just before her 90th birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late John Kyryliw.
Born in Magic Mala, Croatia, Sofia came to the United States in 1961 and settled in Woonsocket, RI. She worked at the Finkelstein Mill for over 20 years as a seamstress and inspector. For the last 24 years she lived in No. Smithfield. RI. Sofia was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality.

WOONSOCKET- Walter E. Greenlund, 63, of Delray Beach, FL died Monday, October 3, 2011 while visiting in Rhode Island.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Walter W. and Doris M. (Cournoyer) Greenlund.
Mr. Greenlund worked for General Motors in Framingham and Interstate Towing in Woonsocket, retiring in 2004. He served as a Sargeant in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Wally liked watching baseball and going fishing but especially enjoyed spending time with his family and was considered the number one fan at his grandchildren's sporting events.

WOONSOCKET- Yvette C. Mandeville, 81, of Angell St., Woonsocket, died Sunday at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Florina (Jacob) Mandeville. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Yvette was employed in her early years at the French Worsted mill and later at Riverside Corp. She later worked at Royal Electric ITT Corp in Pawtucket for over 40 years before retiring.
She was a lifelong communicant of Precious Blood Church.

PALM BAY, FL- Raymond L. Mercier 61, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away Saturday August 20, 2011 at the Wuesthoff Progressive Health Care Center, Viera, FL.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of Lucille (D'Anjou) Mercier and the late Lionel Mercier.
He served in the US Navy from 1967-1960 and was a past member of the Army National Guard and the Coast Guard Reserves.

Emile formally resided in North Smithfield with(deceased) wife Judith (Kozlik)Paradis. He is survived by his current wife Veronica (Reiss) Paradis.

NO. SMITHFIELD- Clemence T (Gouin) Pelletier, 88, of No. Smithfield, died Saturday, October 1, 2011 in St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Maurice Pelletier.
Born in Manville, she was the daughter of the late Arbea and Cordelea (Guevremont) Gouin. She also resided most of her life in Woonsocket.
Mrs. Pelletier worked as a winder for the former Premier Thread, Lincoln, retiring in 1990, and had also worked for the former Uniroyal, Woonsocket. A communicant of St. James Parish, her favorite hobbies were cleaning and shopping.

WOONSOCKET- Jennifer L. Morin 30, of Ballou St. died Saturday at Brigham and Women's Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Woonsocket, the daughter of Rene R. and Monique (Gaulin) Morin. Jennifer was a fun loving, outgoing people person. She was a big fan of Donald Duck, and loved giving manicures.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- Mrs. Carol Lynn Swansen Potter, age 68, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.
She grew up in Chicago; and after graduating from high school, Carol earned her B.A. in education from Luther College.
For 13 years she taught elementary school and then earned her Masters Degree in Counseling at Northern Illinois University. She met Don through Community Theatre.

NORTH SMITHFIELD- Gardner, Eleanor O. (Pratt), 79, died Friday, September 30, 2011. She was the wife of Donald F. Gardner for 56 years. Born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Alfred H. and Sarah J. (Gray) Pratt.
Mrs. Gardner lived in Glocester before moving to North Smithfield 56 years ago. She was a lifelong member of Greenville Baptist Church and 31 year member of Primrose Grange #9.
