NEW SYMYRNA BEACH FLA- Robert Daniel Beardsley Jr. aka "Bob Roberts" died suddenly on Dec. 13th 2011 at the age of 46.
A Burrillville native, Robert moved to Marathon Island of the Florida Keys in the mid 90's where he worked as a Landscaper until recently moving to New Symyrna Beach Fla.
Robert was an avid pool player and loved to play pitch and cribbage.
Alice G. Harnois
WOONSOCKET- Alice G. Harnois 88, formerly of Clinton St. died Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Bayberry Commons, Pascoag.
Born in Woonsocket, October 9, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Emilien and Marie (Deserres) Harnois.
Before her retirement in 1987, Alice worked for Philips Electronics Corp. in North Smithfield for eighteen years.
WOONSOCKET- Lucille Corriveault, 91, passed away December 23, 2011 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center.
Born July 25, 1920 in Cap Chat, Gaspee Canada.
She was the daughter of the late Francois and Florilda (Thibeault) Pelletier.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Corriveault.
She lived in Blackstone and New Hampshire before moving back to Woonsocket.
She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and board games and being with her family.
Gerard G. Jolicoeur
GREENVILLE- Gerard G. Jolicoeur, 80, of Greenville, died Saturday, December 24, 2011in Cortland Place Nursing Center. His wife of 57 years, Winifred M. (Knowles) Jolicoeur, died in 2009.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Albert and Claudia (Cournoyer) Jolicoeur.
He was a salesman for the former Replacement Auto Parts/Franklin Supply Company for 50 years, retiring in 2000. Mr. Jolicoeur was a former member of St. Theresa's Church, Nasonville and Our Lady of Good Help, Mapleville.
Mary E. Wilson
WOONSOCKET- Mary E. (Garmon) Wilson, 77, of Sunnyside Ave. died, Wednesday December 21, 2011, in Landmark Medical Center, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Wallace Wilson.
Born in Douglasville, Georgia, daughter of the late Ralph and Minnie (Henry) Garmon.
Mary worked as a Footpressor operator for Woonsocket Dress for 20 years and Fashion Sportswear.
She was a Pastors aide at St. James Baptist Church.
Thomas E. Creighton
UXBRIDGE- Mr. Thomas E. "Tim" Creighton, 89, of 71 Douglas St., died Christmas Eve at home peacefully in his sleep. His wife of 54 years Dorothy M. (Depatie) Creighton predeceased him on Nov. 7, 2000.
George E. Wilcox
WOONSOCKET- George E. Wilcox 85, of South Main St. died peacefully Sunday at the home of his niece, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Claire (Bergeron) Wilcox and Lucille (Fournier ) Rock Wilcox.
Born in Millville, MA, he was a son of the late Arthur and Mary Ann (Hoggarth) Wilcox. George worked for the Draper Co. for twenty years as a mechanic.
Joseph P. Frigon
CUMBERLAND- Joseph P. Frigon, 84, of Cumberland and Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011. He was the husband of the late Jeanne (Brodeur) Frigon.
Mr. Frigon was a Supervisor for Blackstone Valley Electric for many years, retiring in 1989.
He is survived by two sons, Marc and Guy Frigon, two daughters, Christine Perry and Arlene Laboissonniere. He also leaves eleven grandchildren.
Molly E. Coutu
UXBRIDGE- Molly E. Coutu, 17, of Uxbridge, passed away Wed. Dec. 21, 2011, in Sutton from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born Dec. 17, 1994 in Natick the daughter of Joshua M. and Kristen (Tavalone) Coutu of Uxbridge.
She was a senior at Northbridge High School and a member of the varsity soccer team. She had also attended Uxbridge High School where she played soccer and tennis. On weekends, she worked at Regal Cinemas in Bellingham and had recently completed her college applications. She was to pursue a degree in radiology.
Robert J. Sadlier
CHEPACHET- Robert J. Sadlier 70, resident of Putnam CT, died December 22, 2011 Bayberry Commons in Pascoag.
He was the loving husband to Christine (Hardy) Sadlier.
He was born in Webster MA on April 17, 1941, son of the late James & Beatrice (Rivers) Sadlier.
Robert worked many years for the C & J Forms Co. for many years, a resident of Chepachet for most of his life.
