CUMBERLAND - Edwood Anderson, formerly of Blue Mist Drive, Manville passed away Sunday at home in Attleboro. He was the husband of the late Anna (Crociata) Anderson.
He resided in Attleboro for the past year, previously residing in Cumberland, and the Manville section of Lincoln.
He trained as a pilot in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Anderson was self-employed in the computer industry as a consultant.
Ed was an avid builder and craftsman, lover of science fiction, and movie buff.
Conrad L. Mucciarone
FRANKLIN - Conrad L. "Muchy" Mucciarone 72, a lifelong town resident, died Friday August 19, 2011 at Norwood Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Holmes) Mucciarone, for 48 years.
Born in Franklin, January 25, 1939, a son of the late Felix A. "Tony" Mucciarone and Adrienne C. (Lavasseur) Mucciarone, he was raised and educated in local schools, and was a 1956 graduate of Franklin High School.
WOONSOCKET - Cora M. (Fournier) Briere 82, of Grand View Ave. died Saturday at Home and Hospice Care of RI. She was the wife of the late Roger Briere. Mrs. Briere was born in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Camille and Alice (Dubois) Fournier. She was a textile worker for several area textile mills, including the Rochambeau Worsted, where she was employed as a winder for six years before retiring in 1993.
CUMBERLAND - Krystal Lynn Durkin, 25, passed away Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital She was the daughter of Mark Durkin of Cumberland and Cheryl (Koziol) Durkin of Harrisville.
Born in Woonsocket, she resided in Cumberland for most of her life. She leaves her maternal grandparents, Stanley and Patricia (Pianka) Koziol of Cumberland and her paternal grandparents William H. and Clarice (LeMar) Durkin of Burrillville.
She was a Cumberland High School graduate.
She was employed as a waitress.
WOONSOCKET - Edward H. Fleury, 90, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 in the Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Centre. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Herve and Rena (Bergeron) Fleury.
He worked on a Rolling Table for the Quincy Dye Company. He was a veteran of the
US Army and served as a Steamadore during WWII.
WOONSOCKET- Frederick C. "Fred" Coughlin, Jr., 68, of Woonsocket, died Thursday at Landmark Medical Center with his family at his side. He was the loving husband of Claudette L. (DuBois) Coughlin. They were married on January 19, 1963.
Born in Westerly, his father was the late Frederick C. Coughlin and his mother was the late Julia Hermes.
Mr. Coughlin came to Woonsocket at a young age and remained a lifelong resident of the city. He was brought up by his maternal grandparents whom he looked upon as his second parents.
L. Andre Chartier
NORTH SMITHFIELD- L. Andre Chartier, 81, of Colerick St., died Friday, August 19, 2011 in The Friendly Home, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Teresa (Kane) Chartier whom he married December 29, 1951.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Lucien S. and Antonia (Valcourt) Chartier.
William L. Hadley
WOONSOCKET- William L. "Bill" Hadley, 56, of Woonsocket, died Thursday.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of Rachel (Bois) Hadley of Woonsocket and the late Francis Hadley.
Bill lived in Arizona and Wyoming for many years and worked as a truck driver.
Bill was an avid motorcyclist, enjoyed computers and was a Patriots fan. He was also cast as an extra in several film productions.
Arthur N. Clem
WOONSOCKET- Arthur N. Clem 78, of Bound Rd. died Thursday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Muriel (Lavallee) Clem.
Born in Milford, MA he was a son of the late, Arthur Clem and Dora (Lague) Lataille.
Roger W. Duquet
EUSTIS, FL- Roger W. Duquet 64, of Eustis, Fl died on June 21,2011 @ Hopsice House, Tavares, Fl.
Born in Providence, RI he was the son of the late Frank W. Duquet and Dolores M (Salmon) Duquet.
He lived in RI until joining the Navy where he served 14 years, with two tours in Viet Nam on the "Swift Boat".
He was employed by Toshiba until retiring due to illness.
He is survived by four sons- Rodney E. Duquet stationed in Japan; Kevin L. Duquet of Garden Grove, Ca; Tony L. Duquet of Garden Grove, Ca; and Roger W. Duquet of Guam.
