Frederick A. McCaffrey

LADY LAKE, FL. - Frederick A. McCaffrey, 66, Lady Lake, FL died Monday, August 22, 2011.
He was born in Providence, RI and moved to Lady Lake from Foster, RI in 2006. He was formerly a director of Buildings and Grounds at Foster-Gloucester School District. He was Catholic by faith and an avid golfer.
Survivors include son Peter C. McCaffrey, St. Louis, MO and 3 grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held in St. Louis, MO at a later date.

WOONSOCKET - Robert N. Monfette 58, of Cady St. died Monday. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of Lucille (Lafontaine) Monfette and the late Albert Monfette. Bob was a construction worker and painter for most of his life. He served in the US AirForce. He was a member of the Woonsocket Lodge of Elks and an avid fisherman.
Besides his mother he leaves a daughter Cassondra, four siblings, George, Donald, Suzanne, and Pauline.
Funeral arrangements are private.

LINCOLN - Linda L. (L'Heureux) L'Etoile, 66, of Railroad Street, Manville died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife and caregiver of Kenneth R. L'Etoile. They were married for 42 years.
A lifelong resident of Manville, she was a daughter of the late Olivier and Lillian (Dunyewski) L'Heureux.
Mrs. L'Etoile was a hairdresser in Cumberland for over 20 years before becoming the owner of Lucky Star Antiques, Manville for 5 years. She later worked as a hairdresser at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville for 13 years.

UXBRIDGE - Edward H. Powers, 71, of Chapin St. died Mon. Aug. 22 at his home surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 35 years Leona Carol (Depatie) Powers died in 1995.

UXBRIDGE - Russell J. Murray Sr., 79, of Sutton St. died Thur. Aug. 18 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Claire A. (Vincent) Murray; 2 sons Vincent M. Murray of Hope, ME and Russell J. Murray, Jr. of Wellesley; a daughter Mary Ellen Gordon of Waterbury Center, VT; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister Patricia (Murray) Rivet of N. Carolina and several nephews and nieces.

LINCOLN - Anna M. (Sudol) Swiski, 91, of Franklin Street died Monday, August 22, 2011 at Grandview Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Alexander Swiski.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Hetel) Sudol, she had lived in Cumberland for 27 years before moving to Lincoln 17 years ago.
Mrs. Swiski was a secretary at the former Woonsocket Institution for Savings and later Eastland Bank for 10 years. She also was a substitute teacher at Our Lady of Consolation Parochial School and in the Woonsocket School system.

Jeanne D'Arc Richer

WOONSOCKET - Jeanne D'Arc Richer died Sunday at the age of 91 in The Ballou Home in Woonsocket surrounded by family and friends. Jeanne was one of many Franco-Americans of Canadian descent who worked the now defunct Woonsocket textile mills such as the Alsace and the Woonsocket Spinning.

WOONSOCKET - Vivian A. Kamer, 70, of Woodhaven Rd., died Monday August 22, 2011, in the Oakland Grove Health Center. She was the wife of Thomas Kamer.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Wilfred and Alice (Corriveau) Mathieu.
She worked in Housekeeping at the Mt. St. Rita Health Center for several years, and also for Miller Electric, for 28 years.

WOONSOCKET - Irjean A. "John" St. Onge, 89, formerly of Old River Rd., Manville, died Sunday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of Claire E. (Delage)(Godin) St. Onge. They were married on May 29, 1983.
Born in Manville, he was a son of the late Zephrim and Eva (Delisle) St. Onge. He was a resident of Manville for most of his life and had lived in Woonsocket for the past several years.
Mr. St. Onge was employed as a tool maker at Bird Co. Inc. for over 20 years and in his earlier years he worked at the Manville Jenckes mill.
