James D. Connor
CUMBERLAND - James D. Connor, 79, of Mendon Rd. passed away Thursday in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of Pauline D. (Dumas) Connor.
A life long Cumberland resident he was the son of the late David and Mary (Kennedy) Connor.
He was a plumber/ pipefitter working out of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 51, East Providence for many years until his retirement.
Victor G. LeMay
WOONSOCKET - Victor G. LeMay, 79, of Sunrise Avenue, died June 24, 2014 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. He was the husband of Ramona (Koury) LeMay whom he married November 23, 1961. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Gerald and Rose (Craig) LeMay.
He worked for the City of Woonsocket for eleven years before retiring in 2000 and prior to that worked locally as a machinist. Victor served in the United States Army, he enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, wood working and spending time with his grandchildren.
Norman H. Lataille, Sr.
HARRISVILLE - Norman H. Lataille, Sr., 84, of Harrisville, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in Roger Williams Hospital, Providence with his family by his side. He was the husband of Lena (Lafreniere) Lataille, whom he married June 23, 1951. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Leo and Dora (Lague) Lataille.
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Camille "Cam" Morisseau, 69, of Great Road, died June 18, 2014 in St. Antoine Residence. He was the husband of Elaine S. (Nys) Morisseau whom he married June 12, 1965. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Emile and Laurencia (Julie) Morisseau.
Rose B. Simard
BLACKSTONE - Rose B. (Parenteau) Simard, 97, of Diana Street died Thursday at Landmark Medical Center after taking a fall at home. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Paul A. Simard, Sr., who died on March 31.
Mrs. Simard was born in Canada and emigrated to this country with her family as a young child. She was a daughter of Joseph and Marie (Giguere) Parenteau of Woonsocket and was predeceased by four brothers: Ubald, Germain, Bernard, and Raymond Parenteau, and three sisters: Cecile Parenteau, Marie Couture, and Rachel Giguere.
Mary Ellen French
WHITINSVILLE - Mary Ellen "Mame" (Kane) French, 67, formerly of Plummer Ave. died Tues. June 24 at Milford Hospital after a long illness. Her husband Edward A. French died Feb 2, 1994.
Marion I. Ducharme-Paul
BURRILLVILLE - Marion I. (Spink) Ducharme-Paul, 98, of Pascoag, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Harold Ducharme and Horace Paul. Born in Harrisville, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Albina (Dumas) Spink.
Shirley A. Masse
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL- Shirley A. Masse 74, of Biscaia Ave. New Port Richey, FL died Monday, June 23, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Normand Masse. Born in Northbridge, MA she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Pearl (Duquette) Rice. Shirley was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards and traveling.
Joseph W. Quiray, Jr.
HARRISVILLE - Joseph W. Quiray, Jr., 62, of Harrisville, died peacefully Monday, June 23, 2014, in his home. He was the husband of Claudette (Joyal) Quiray, whom he married September 10, 1972. Born in San Diego, CA, he was the son of the late Joseph W. Quiray, Sr. and Anna (Panciocco) Haynes.
Joseph was the owner of Print-It Plus, Providence for 27 years. He was a life member of the Wallum Lake Rod & Gun Club, fisherman, musician and amateur radio technician, who most of all loved spending time with his family.
Joseph G. LeClair
BURRILLVILLE - Joseph G. LeClair, 41, of Glendale, RI, passed away June 22, 2014 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI, a son of Gerald & Gail (Connell) LeClair of Glendale, RI.
Joseph was a chemical applicator for the Malec Tree Services Co.in Nasonville. He was a lifelong Burrillville resident. He played in several area bands including the Down to Earth Band. An accomplished musician, he composed and preformed both music and vocals. He also was an avid New England Patriot fan.
