Leonel M. Cote

PASCOAG - Leonel M. "Nel" Cote, 80, of Pascoag, RI, passed away on December 21, 2014 at Landmark Medical Center. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Leo and Antonia (Bourget) Cote.
He was the husband to the late Pauline M. (Turgeon) Cote.
Leonel was a Burrillville resident for most of his life. He worked for the Burrillville Highway Department for 13 years retiring in 1999. Previously he worked for the Tupco Co., of Auburn, Ma and was the caretaker for St. Patrick's Cemetery for 11 years. He was also a former member of the RI National Guard.

NORTH SMITHFIELD - George W. Townsend, Jr., 88, of Greenville Rd., died January 6, 2015 in his home. He was the husband of Annie (Lechman) Townsend whom he married March 4, 1950. Born in Fayetteville, NC, he was the son of the late George and Segretta (Davis) Townsend.
He worked for Verizon before his retirement in 1986. George served in the United States Army and Navy during World War II; and he was an avid golfer.

WOONSOCKET - Rita M. (Lafreniere) Beaulieu, 90, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Woonsocket Health Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard M. Beaulieu. Born in St. Didace, Quebec, Canada on October 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Exilia (Adam) Lafreniere.

BLACKSTONE - Joseph G. Bourget 86, of 38 Fox Run Rd., formerly of Fox Brook Manor died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Bernice (Desjarlais) Bourget and the late Mary (Samford) Bourget. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Joseph and Aldea (Aubin) Bourget.

WOONSOCKET - William E. ("Bill") Larder, 81, of Kennedy Manor and formerly of Wrentham, MA died January 4, 2015 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Juliette P. (Lacouture) Larder. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Willie and Lily (Ashcroft) Larder.

CUMBERLAND - Leo Beauregard, 88, of Cumberland passed away, Saturday, January 3, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (Masse) Beauregard. They were happily married for 66 years. Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Armand and Leona (Desjarlais) Beauregard. He was a navy veteran of World War II.

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Charles J. Grady, 74, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away on December 31, 2014 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Charles & Gertrude (Fortin) Grady.
Charles ran the Woonsocket Hearing Aide Center, and was a resident of North Smithfield for 40 years. He was a Vietnam Army veteran.
He is survived by his children, daughter, Jill A. Jellison, sons, Charles "Chuck" Jellison, Glen, Matt and Scott Grady, and a granddaughter, Sara Jellison.

WOONSOCKET - Muriel P. Dusablon 93, formerly of 429 East School St. died Saturday, January 3, 2014 at the home of her daughter under the care of Beacon Hospice. She was the wife of the late Eugene Dusablon. Born in Blackstone, MA she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Clara (Hudon) St. Gelais.
Muriel was a twister for the French Worsted Co. for sixteen years, she also worked as a charger in the braising room for Automatic Machine Products before retiring in 1975. She was a member of the St. Germain Manor Club and a former member of St. Ann's Ladies Guild.

BURRILLVILLE - Tylor R. Bernard, 33, of Harrisville, RI, passed away on December 31, 2014 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
He was the loving son of Ann (Lewin) Lynch and her husband Thomas of Pascoag, and the late Robert Bernard Jr.
Tylor was a member of the RI Sheet Metal Worker's Local #17 4th year apprentice, and was a lifelong Burrillville resident.
