WOONSOCKET- Curtis Barr 59 of Third Ave. died Friday at home. He was the husband of Tina (Boivin) Barr. Curtis was born in Newberry, SC a son of Charlie and Lucy (Jessie)
He was a forklift operator for CVS / Mark Stevens Co. for twenty years before leaving due to illness. Curtis served in the US Air Force. He was a member of the Woonsocket Lodge of Elks #850.

WOONSOCKET- Verna M. Hazard, 46, of Roberts St., Woonsocket, died Friday, June 17, 2011 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of Michael A. MacGrath of Woonsocket.
Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Parker H. and Cereatha M. (Bryer) Hazard, Sr.
Verna worked as a CNA for The Village at Waterman Lake Greenville.

WOONSOCKET- Normand O. Lavoie 84, of Bourassa Ave., died Tuesday at home. He was the husband of the late Carolina (Pasquino) Lavoie.
Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Gedeon and Lumina (L'Abbee) Lavoie.
Mr. Lavoie was an automobile technician for MAC Buick for forty four years. He enjoyed cars, boating and traveling.

CUMBERLAND- Gracia Constantineau, 84, of Mendon Rd. Cumberland, died Monday evening at Oakland Grove Health Care Center in Woonsocket.
Born in Manville, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Marie (Dumas) Fournier. She was raised in Manville and resided in Woonsocket for many years before moving to Cumberland in 1993.
Mrs. Constantineau was employed at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for over 37 years before retiring in 1993.

BLACKSTONE- Jill Ann Considine, 38, formerly of Blackstone, MA passed away Sunday at home in Candia, NH.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of James and Kathleen (Madge) Considine of Candia, NH. She resided in Candia for the past 3 years, previously residing in California and Tennessee.
She was a graduate of the Blackstone-Millville Regional High School, Cass of 1991, and graduated from the Berkley College of Music.

WOONSOCKET- Hector "Tee" R. Lavallee 88, of Hebert Ave. died Tuesday at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of Lucille (Malo) Masse Lavallee.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Euclide and Clara (Rondeau) Lavallee.
He was a resident of Delray Beach, FL for fifty four years where he was the owner, operator of Air All Air Conditioning for forty years. Mr. Lavallee was a paratrooper in the US Air Force during WWII.

NORTH SMITHFILED- Christine T. (Gagne Lahousse) Landi, 63, of Providence Pike, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at home. She was the wife of Joseph R. Landi.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Therese Gagne, and raised by her grandparents, the late Lucien and Edwidge Gagne.

WOONSOCKET- Maurice L. Gagne, 93 of Third Ave, died Monday in North Bay Manor, Smithfield. He was the husband of Pauline V. (Muron) Gagne.
Born in Roubaix, France, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lucy (Trenteseaux) Gagne.
Mr. Gagne was an electronics engineer for the State of Massachusetts for twenty years before retiring in 1985. He was a pioneer in the television industry and built one of the first sets in RI. He had his own TV Repair business and was instrumental in training others in this field. He proudly served in the US Army Air Force during WWII.

BILOXI, MS- Charles Joseph Ray, 87, of Biloxi, MS died on Sunday, June 26, 2011.
Mr. Ray was born in Blackstone, MA on March 20, 1924.
He enlisted in the US Marines on July 20, 1941 and served 8 years. Mr. Ray worked at Voi Shan/Fairchild, Rhondo Beach, CA for 29 years.
He was the son of the late, Lawrence and Mary Ray.
