Marcel L. Arel, Sr.
BLACKSTONE, MA - Marcel L. Arel, Sr., 84, of Blackstone, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2014 at The Friendly Home with family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian R. (Arcand) Arel. Born in Woonsocket, RI on November 7, 1929, he was the son of the late Donatien and Lydia (Paul) Arel. He was the loving father of Nancy L. Rinfrette and her husband, Lawrence of Woonsocket, RI and Patricia M. MacRae and her husband, Earl of Blackstone, MA. He leaves his cherished 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Charles D. Lagor
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Charles D. Lagor, 87, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away on September 4, 2014.
Charles was married to his loving wife Lois (Jacques) Lagor for 64 years.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late William and Philemena (Pyne) Lagor.
Ray A Rivera
WOONSOCKET - Ray A. Rivera 47, of Coe St died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Andrea (Mauricio) Rivera. Born in Hoboken, NJ, he was a son of Reynaldo Rivera and the late Lucia Ortiz Gonzalez. Ray was a truck driver for Ryder Integrated Logistics. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woonsocket. Ray was a wonderful father, brother, and a great friend. He always went above and beyond to lend a hand regardless of the circumstances and loved to share God's word to any who were willing to listen.
H. Raymond Champagne
WOONSOCKET - H. Raymond Champagne 93, of Greene St. died September 2, 2014 at the Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Violet (Dubois) Champagne with whom he has been married for sixty nine years. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Hormidas and Alphonsine (Masse) Champagne. Ray was a sales engineer for International Supply Co. for thirty eight years, before retiring in 1983.
Lillian R. Laliberte
SAINT CLOUD, FL - Lillian Rita Laliberte, 83, was lovingly taken to heaven by Jesus on August 29, 2014 in St. Cloud, FL. She was born on July 15, 1931 in Burrillville, RI to Fredrick and Rosa Bilodeu.
She is survived by her 3 daughters and 1 son Anne Laliberte, Katherine Wasmund, Christine Martin, and Ronald Laliberte. She was predeceased by her beloved son Michael Laliberte. Lillian will also be greatly missed by her 7 grandchildren Justin, Chantelle, Tyler, Danielle, Jessica, Jason, and Noah along with her 7 great grandchildren.
SEBASTIAN, FL - Debra (Cifizzari) Thomas, 57, of Sebastian FL, Passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014.
Born in Framingham, Ma, she was the beloved daughter of Alice R. Cifizzari and of the late Louis A. Cifizzari.

Raymond J. Rabideau
WOONSOCKET - Raymond J. "Rab" Rabideau, 95, of Woonsocket, died Sunday, August 31, 2014 in the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. He was the husband of the late Doris I. (Lemieux) Rabideau, whom he married September 1, 1941. Born in Pascoag, RI, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ada (Dickey) Rabideau.
Raymond was an oil delivery driver for Lozeau's Oil Co., Martel Oil Co. and Consumers Oil Co., Woonsocket, before his retirement. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the Army with the 194th Field Artillery Battalion.
Jodie L. Elias
WOONSOCKET - Jodie L. (Bouvier) Elias, 54, of East School Street, died Thursday August 26, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the former wife of the late Ronald Elias.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Donald and Lillian (Cortez) Bouvier.
Jodie was a Homemaker. She enjoy spending time with family and friends and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons, Jason Elias of Woonsocket, RI, and Nathan Elias and Jenna Correia, of Lincoln, RI. Five grandchildren, Tyler, Nathan, Shane, Kayden, and Dylan.
Theodora M. Katz
SMITHFIELD - Katz, Theodora M. (Grant), 91 formerly of Smithfield and Providence died Wednesday at St Antoine's. She was the wife of the late Nathan Katz.
Born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Walter A. and Bertha (Legare) Grant she lived in Providence moving to Smithfield 15 years ago.
She worked as a secretary to Congressman John Fogarty from 1952 to 1958 and later for the US Foreign Service, working on economic assistance for third world countries for 18 years retiring in 1975. During that time she worked in Thailand, Morocco, Nepal, Cambodia and Senegal
