Joseph C. Carchia Sr.
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Joseph C. Carchia Sr. 66, resident of North Smithfield, died May 20, 2013, at the Home & Hospice Care of RI, in Providence.
He was the husband to Marla (O'Hara) Carchia.
He was born in Providence RI, a son of Jennie (Minicucci) Carchia, and the late Carlo Carchia.
Joseph worked for the State of RI, for over thirty years. He was a resident of Slatersville for thirty years. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran, and was a member of the VFW in Forestdale.
Charles T. O'Rourke
WOONSOCKET- Charles T. O'Rourke, 69, of Gaskill St. died May 17, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. Charlie was the husband of Barbara H. (McMahon) O'Rourke for forty-nine years. Her kindness and beauty lived within his heart.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late George J. and Laura B. (Jalette) O'Rourke of Woonsocket and Wilmington, NC.
Mary Kamer
WOONSOCKET- Mary Kamer, 81, of Dulude Ave, died Monday May 20, 2013 at home with her family by her side.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Shookry and Eva (Doura) Kamer.
Mary worked as a stitcher for 35 years at Finkelsteins, prior to retiring.
Mary was a very caring and giving individual, everyone could always count on Mary to be there when needed. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time at the Ocean.
She was past president of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union.

Rita J. Remy
WOONSOCKET- Rita J. Remy, 89, formerly of St. Paul St., died Sunday May 5, 2013 at the Friendly Home in Woonsocket where she resided for the past several years.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Stanislaus and Azama (Charron) Remy. She was a lifelong city resident.
Rita attended St. Claire High School and graduated from Finan's School of Beauty Culture in Pawtucket.
She worked at Yvette's Beauty Parlor in Cumberland for 18 years and also at Jeanne D'Art Maison de Beaute on Manville Rd. in Woonsocket for over 25 years.
Lucille Pinsonneault
WOONSOCKET- Lucille Pinsonneault, 86, formerly of Gilbert St,. Woonsocket, died Saturday at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island in Providence.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late William and Angelina (Boisell) Pinsonneault. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Lucille was a longtime communicant of Precious Blood Church and was a well-read person.
Marjorie M. Gentile
WOONSOCKET- Marjorie M. "Marge" (Scott) Gentile, 86, of Olympia Ave. died May 18, 2013 in the Oakland Grove Health Center with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Lilio J.Gentile.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late, Henry and Lillian (Bernhart) Scott.
Marge worked for Mazzarelle Spinning,and also Finkelsteins, for 25 years,and and at Coby Glass, prior to retiring.
She enjoyed, knitting,and cooking for her family and friends and love spending time with her two granddaughters.
Robert W. Sanford
WOONSOCKET- Robert W. Sanford, 82, of Walnut Hill Rd. died Monday May 20, 2013, in the Oakland Grove Health Center, with his family by his side. He was the husband of Lorraine (Perry) Sanford.
Born in Providence, son of the late, Thomas J. and Grace M. (Farrell) Sanford.
Mr. Sanford was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
He worked in sales for 27 years for Cumberland Engineering, prior to retiring.
Marjorie P. Cummings
CUMBERLAND- Marjorie P. Cummings, 84, of Forestdale Drive in Cumberland, died on May 19 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Marjorie Place.
She attended Woonsocket High School and the University of Rhode Island and lived in Virginia and Connecticut for several years before settling down permanently in Rhode Island in 1963.

Lucien J. Malo
MANVILLE- Lucien J. Malo, 96, of Manville, died Sunday, May 19, 2013 in the Holiday Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Yvonne (Sarreault) Malo.
Born in Manville, he was the son of the late Ernest J. and Aurore (Poisson) Malo. He lived in Manville most of his life.
Josephine Cardone
SMITHFIELD- Cardone, Josephine (Venditto) of Pleasant View Avenue, Greenville, died Friday, May 17, 2013. She was the devoted wife of Louis Cardone. They had been married for 63 years.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Mezzini) Venditto. She had lived in Providence before moving to Smithfield.
