WOONSOCKET- Ronald N. Charbonneau 41, of Fabien St. died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Seven Hills residence on Gilfillan Rd. in North Smithfield, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Warwick, a son of the late Paul E. and Lilianne (Rajotte) Charbonneau. Ronnie was a member of the former Homestead Group which is now Seven Hills.
Mary Linda Poirier
TUCSON, ARIZONA- Mary Linda Poirier, 70, passed away March 19, 2014.
She was born in Woonsocket, and a resident of Blackstone prior to transferring to Tucson, Arizona to work for Mountain Bell Telephone Company in 1976. With thirty years of service, she was a life member of AT&T Pioneers.
Married over forty-five years, Linda was a devoted and loving wife, mom and grandma. Joining her husband, Daniel and daughter, Marie in heaven, she can finally rest in peace. She will be deeply missed. No services are pending.
Kenneth N. Bonollo
CUMBERLAND- Kenneth N. Bonollo, 73, of Mohawk St., passed away Thursday in the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth F. (Barbour) Bonollo.
Born in Milford, MA he was the son of the late Nello and Mary (Franchini) Bonollo. He was a life long Cumberland resident.
WOONSOCKET- Roosevelt Harris, 78, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in Oakland Grove Health Center with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Lelia (Harmon) Harris.
Born in Newberry, South Carolina, son of the late Lou Walsh and Inez (Spearman) Harris.
Mr. Harris was owner and operator of Harris Home Builders, and also was a construction worker for various construction companies in the area.
PORTUGAL- Clarinda Fernandes, 96, of Portugal passed away in her sleep on March 4, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Horacio Ferreira.
Born in Portugal, daughter of the late Manuel and Recardina Maria Fernandes.
Clarinda was a homemaker, loved by everyone who knew her; she had a great love for her family, and life in general.
Edith V. Namaka
WOONSOCKET- Edith V. (Dunford) Namaka, 95, of Woonsocket, died March 27, 2014 in Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Centre. She was the wife of the late Paul Namaka.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Frederick C. and G. Mabel (Gainer) Dunford.
Edith worked as a stitcher for local dress shops, retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Woonsocket, and the Creapeau Court Social Club, where she was a kitchen volunteer.
Daniel L. Brown, Jr.
WOONSOCKET- Daniel L. Brown, Jr., 90, of St. Antoine Villa in North Smithfield, RI, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away on March 26, 2014 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
He was the husband of the late Stella (Fedyszyn) Brown.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI, son of the late Daniel Sr., & Eva (Dumas) Brown.
Steve C. Steve
WOONSOCKET- Steve C. Steve, 88, of Blackstone St died March 24 at Trinity Healthcare. Many thanks are to be given for their kind, attentive and accommodating care.
He was born and resided his entire life in Woonsocket. Son of the late Christy Steve (Scudreanu) and Anastasia (Geanacou) Steve who emigrated from Veroia, Greece.
Richard A. Palreiro
WOONSOCKET- Richard A. Palreiro, 79, of Woonsocket, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
Born in Fall River, MA on October 14, 1934, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Tavares) Palreiro, Sr.
He was the brother of the late William Palreiro, Jr. and leaves his nieces Donna Palreiro of Woonsocket and Lorraine Boulay of Providence, and his late nephew Michael Palreiro.
WOONSOCKET- Stella (Michalik) Swierk, 93, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at the Friendly Home. She was the loving wife of the late Matthew Swierk.
Born January 31, 1921 in Uxbridge, MA., she was the daughter of the late John & Mary (Kieronski) Michalik.
Stella was a secretary for the Stanley Woolen Co. and then the former Taft Peirce Co. before retiring. She leaves a sister Rose Szerlag of Northbridge, MA. also several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Peter, Bruno & Joseph Michalik and Helen Edge.
