GREENVILLE- Barbara T. (Noble) Lawnicki, 83, formerly of Easthampton, MA, a resident of The Village at Waterman Lake in Greenville, RI died peacefully March 17, 2014 in her home with those she loved dearly. She was the wife of the late Stanley H. Lawnicki, Sr., a lifelong resident of Easthampton and the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Pennell) Noble.

WOONSOCKET- Lionel A. Belisle 64, of Rockridge Dr. died March 12, 2014 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Thurla (Brooks) Belisle.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Edward and Therese (Lamoureux) Belisle. Lionel was an associate for Walmart in the Woonsocket and North Smithfield Stores for fifteen years.

WOONSOCKET- Harold "Bunny" Fitzpatrick, 85, of Woonsocket, died Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Cortland Place, Smithfield. He was the husband of Gloria D. (Laplume) Fitzpatrick.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Isabelle (Creighton) Fitzpatrick.
Harold was a graduate of Woonsocket High School and attended Jacksonville University. He was a WWII Navy veteran, serving in WWII and the Korean War. Harold was a Mutuel Clerk for the former Lincoln Park, now Twin River, for 50 years. He enjoyed traveling.

Robert Earl Mowry, Sr., 99, of No. Smithfield, died peacefully at home, Friday, March 14, 2014. He was the husband of Leona C. (Godlewski) Zuba, whom he married December 29, 1995.
Robert was born and lived his entire life in No. Smithfield. He was the son of the late Walter A. and Edith (Pennell) Mowry.

WOONSOCKET- Maurice H. Cartier, 66, of Woonsocket died Thursday morning at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the loving husband of Henrietta M. (Charpentier) Cartier. They were married on September 25, 1982.
Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Arphidase and Edouardina (Latour) Cartier. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Cartier was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam era.

UXBRIDGE- Philippa "Joy" Gould, 68 of Uxbridge died Mon. March 10, 2014 in the St. Camillus Health Center in Whitinsville.
Ms. Gould was employed as a receptionist and medical assistant to Dr. Stephen Leach in the office of the Windham Medical Group in Willimantic, CT for 28 years. In October 2007, she retired and moved to Uxbridge to live with her former husband, Dana J. Gould.

NORTH SMITHFIELD- Mary C. Hunt, 89, of North Smithfield, died Sunday, March 9, 2014 in St. Antoine Residence.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Edmund J. and Elizabeth M. (Carroll) Hunt.
Mary was a 1945 graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing and a 1962 graduate of Boston College. She was a registered nurse for the VA Hospital at Davis Park, Providence, for 33 years, retiring in 1985. Mary was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church.

WOONSOCKET- Ann E. Paquette, 77, of Woonsocket died Wednesday morning at home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Roger A. Paquette. They were married on October 12, 1957.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Alderic and Eva (Fortier) Denomme. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Paquette was employed as a stitcher for several area sewing shops. She also worked at U.S. Rubber, Royal Robes and in the housekeeping department at Mt. St. Francis Health Center before retiring.
