MENDON- Lawrence A. Reardon Jr., 93, of Mendon, formerly of Franklin died Sun. Feb.16, 2014 in the Don Orione Home, East Boston.
Mr. Reardon was employed as a Press Operator for over 44 years at the Clark-Cutler- McDermott Co. in Franklin.
He was born May 21, 1920 in Boston, son of the late Lawrence A. and Mary R. (Mucciarone) Reardon Sr. He was a graduate of Franklin High School.
Mr. Reardon enjoyed weight lifting and bicycling in his younger years. He was a former member of St. Mary's Church in Franklin where he was active in church ministries.
Beatriz E. Grabowski
SMITHFIELD- Beatriz E. (Llamas) Grabowski, 47, of John Mowry Road in Smithfield passed away Friday, February 14 in Miriam Hospital, Providence.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Grabowski and her daughters Emily Archambault and Alyssa Grabowski both of Smithfield.
Born in Cartagena, Columbia, Bea was the daughter of Carlos Llamas of North Smithfield and Yvonne (Daza) Llamas of Millville, MA.
A graduate of Bryant University, Bea had lived in Smithfield for the past 11 years and was employed by the Woonsocket Housing Authority for the past 6 years.
Muriel T. Giard
CUMBERLAND- Muriel T. (Brousseau) Giard, 85, of Cumberland, previously of Woonsocket, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Lydia Taft House. She was the wife of the late Clement M. Giard.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Phillippe and Rose Anna (Dubois) Brousseau.
Muriel was a cashier at CVS Pharmacy on Cass Ave. for forty four years, retiring in 2010. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Senior Citizens.
Jeanne C. Guay
WOONSOCKET- Jeanne C. (Boucher) Guay, 70, of Woonsocket, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Sentara General Hospital, Virginia Beach, VA. She was the wife of Denis G. Guay, whom she married November 22, 1962.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Muriel (Jalbert) Boucher of Woonsocket and the late Omer Boucher.
Gail A. Connolly
WOONSOCKET- Gail A. Connolly, 60, a lifelong resident of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully after a long illness Saturday, February 15, 2014 in her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo R. and Evelyn V. (Paquette) Connolly.
Gail enjoyed traveling, rides in the car, bridges, collecting dolls, and smoothies from Starbucks.
She leaves her brother, Paul J. Connolly and his wife Judith of No. Smithfield, several cousins and many close friends.
Walter J. Mostek
PHOENIXVILLE, PA- Walter J. Mostek, 95, formerly of Bellingham, MA & more recently of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Wednesday February 12, 2014. Walter was the husband of the late Helen (nee Golubowski) Mostek and son of the late Stanley & Aniela (nee Struzik) Mostek.
Walter was an avid gardener, enjoyed carpentry and was a Charter Member of the Bellingham Lions Club. He took great pride in having served in the Navy during WW II.
Yvonne M. LaRoche
WOONSOCKET- Yvonne M. LaRoche, 101, formerly of Maple St. Woonsocket died Sunday morning at St. Antoine Residence.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Paul and Roseanna (Peloquin) Ethier. She was a lifelong resident of the city prior to moving to North Smithfield several years ago.
Mrs. LaRoche was employed as a switch board operator at L'Union St. Jean Baptiste in Woonsocket until retiring in 1979. She previously also worked at the Hebert Knitting Mill for a number of years.
MILFORD- Nancy F. Vasile Dalpe, 77, of Milford passed away February 5, 2014 in Kindred Care, Franklin. She was the wife of the late Raymond Dalpe who died in 1997.
Nancy had been a waitress at the Paddock Restaurant for 20 years and was also a stay at home family matriarch.
Nancy was born August 10, 1936 in Milford the daughter of the late Frank and Yola (Tassone) Vasile. She was a graduate of Milford High School, class of 1953 and had been a resident of Milford for 40 years before moving to Bellingham 30 years ago.
Helena K. Cadorette
WOONSOCKET- Helena K. (Tancrell) Cadorette, 98, of Woonsocket, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 in the Ballou Home. She was the wife of the late Ovila R. Cadorette, whom she married May 1, 1944.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Gideon and Katherine (Frayne) Tancrell.
Mrs. Cadorette was a saleswoman for Lerner's Department Store and later worked for the AT Cross Company. She was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Mrs. Cadorette enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid reader.
MILFORD- Doris (Carpentier) Benjamin, 87, of Milford, MA formerly of Blackstone, MA died Friday, February 14, 2014 in Milford Care Center, Milford, MA. She was the wife of the late Bernard M. Benjamin.
She was born in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Christopher and Eva (Ouellette) Carpentier.
Mrs. Benjamin worked as a line engraver at A.T. Cross in Lincoln, RI.
