CHEPACHET - Florence Edna (FITZSIMMONS) Mac Donald, 91, of Chepachet, died Monday morning, June 16, 2014 after a brief illness. She was the widow of Robert F. Mac Donald. Born in Woonsocket, the only child of William and Nellie (Worsnop) Fitzsimmons, she was a 1940 graduate of Woonsocket High School and a 1942 graduate of Hill College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in secretarial science.

ALBUQUERQUE NM. - MANDEVILLE, Marcel G., age 73, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2014 at the Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM. Born on September 6, 1940 in Woonsocket, RI, he joined the US Air Force in 1958. Over his 26 year career in the military, he and his family lived in several locations around the world. He retired in Albuquerque, NM in 1984. He has been an active leader in the local Alcoholics Anonymous group for several years, where he was able to help many people find sobriety. His generous heart and patriotic spirit will be his enduring legacy.

WOONSOCKET - Mildred "Millie" (Savoie) Tellier, RN passed from this life at the age of 88 on June 15, 2014, after a long illness, surrounded by her husband Robert, of 63 years and family. She was born in Manville, a daughter of the late Joseph and Regia (Guilbault) Savoie, and lived most of her life in Woonsocket.

MAPLEVILLE - Raymond N. Girard, 87, of Maplewood Dr., Mapleville, R.I. died on Sunday June 15, 2014 at home. He was the beloved husband of Gladys (Jardine) Girard.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Adelard and Alice (Pepin) Girard.
Raymond worked as a machinist for Draper's in Hopedale, R.I. for several years and also at Exercycle in Woonsocket, prior to retiring.
He was a member of the Burrillville Seniors.

MAPLEVILLE, - Mildred A. (Gaskill) McLaughlin, 69, of Mapleville, RI, passed away at home on Saturday, June 14, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles B. McLaughlin, Sr. Born in Milford, MA on October 1, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Dora (Streeter) Gaskill.

Born April 16, 1922 in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Martin & Stefania (Wawskiewicz) Klara, she resided in Woonsocket all her life. Jennie was employed as a secretary for the Axelrod Co. in Woonsocket and then the Sisters of Mercy in Cumberland before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Woonsocket.

CUMBERLAND - Robert E. Larence, 75, of Cumberland passed away Friday at the Oakland Grove Health Care Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Beatrice (Salois) Larence.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Mozart and Jennie (Pandolfi) Larence. He was a life-long resident of Cumberland.
Mr. Larence was a Rhode Island National Guard Veteran.
He was a graduate of Cumberland High School, Class of 1957 and Salve Regina University, Class of 1971.
