FRANK H. BYAM
BELLINGHAM - Frank H. Byam, Sr., 87, of Bellingham, MA died Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Countryside Nursing Home, Milford, MA. He was the husband of Violet M. (Hilliker) Byam. Born in Fayston, VT, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Sarah (Clough) Byam.
Frank was a courier at the former Woonsocket Hospital for over twenty-five years, and had previously worked in their maintenance department. He attended First Assembly of God Church, Woonsocket.
BARBARA M. (DOLAN) STEERE
OMAHA, NE - Barbara M. (Dolan) Steere 9-21-1916 - 10-4-2014. Preceded in death by her husband, H. Gerard Steere; son, Martin G. Steere; brother, James A. Dolan; parents John P. and Sarah G. (Daugherty) Dolan.
DORIS D. "DOT" SMITH
WOONSOCKET - Doris D. "Dot" Smith, 81, of Woonsocket died Sunday at Woonsocket Health Center. She was the loving wife of Emile R. "Smitty" Smith. They were married on September 3, 1955.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Albert and Roseanne (Sabourin) Doherty. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Dot was employed at Tupperware and also worked at Uniroyal and Murray Worsted Company.
RAYMOND A. DUBOIS
WOONSOCKET - Raymond A. Dubois 69, of St. Francis St. died Saturday at Home and Hospice care of RI. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Hector and Rita (St. Laurent) Dubois. Raymond worked in the maintenance department of the former RI Hospital Trust Building which is now the Bank of America Building in Providence, for over thirty five years. He served in the National Guard for six years.
Lucille Gauthier Dubois
WOONSOCKET - Lucille Gauthier Dubois, 88, of Woonsocket, died October 3, 2014 peacefully in her home. She was the wife of the late Jacques E. Dubois, whom she married on June 7, 1947. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Henri E. and Germaine (Cote) Gauthier.
MARGARET "TERRY" THERESA(MONDOUX) RUO
WOONSOCKET - Margaret "Terry" Theresa (MONDOUX) Ruo, 86, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2014, in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Proulx) Mondoux. She married Frank Ruo, Jr., on December 30, 1950, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 1986.
Terry enjoyed all sports, and played tennis and golf until age 80. An avid traveler, she travelled to all 50 states and many European countries.
Ronald C. Munschy
WOONSOCKET - Ronald C. Munschy, 79, of Congress St. died, Thursday October 2, 2014, in the Phillip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the husband for sixty years to the late Lucille (Lavallee) Munschy.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Robert J. and Florence (Emery) Munschy.
He worked for 40 years in Foods Sales for Borden Foods and Halpern Bros.
Anna M. Campopiano
CUMBERLAND - Anna M. Campopiano, 90, of Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014. She was the wife of the late Augusto E. Campopiano Sr. Born in Norton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Dolores (Gagner) Dufresne. Anna had lived in Cumberland before moving to South Yarmouth where she lived for 18 years. She was a case worker for the State of RI for 22 years, retiring in 1987.
