BURRILLVILLE – Over-confident? Thinking too far ahead?
Walking off the field, Burrillville high coach Amy Carbone couldn’t come up with a reason why her talented squad was simply overpowered by its Division III opponent.
That game was more than a month ago – a 5-0 defeat to Middletown on Sept. 19.
Since that defeat and the three games before it, it has been nothing but smooth sailing for the Lady Broncos. After its latest victory, a 11-0 Senior Day rout of Davies Tech on Monday afternoon, Burrillville improved its league record to 14-1-0.
