CHS grapplers still going strong

February 1, 2011

CUMBERLAND — Another snow day, another lost practice session for Cumberland High’s wrestling team.
“This makes me very uncomfortable,” Cumberland coach Steve Gordon was saying on Tuesday morning as another snowstorm hit the region. “I don’t have any control over the kids’ weights when we can’t practice. We can’t practice at the school because if school is cancelled, it’s over. You can’t practice.”
