Mount icemen clinch share of regular season title

BURRILLVILLE – Mount St. Charles scored five goals in the third period on Saturday night to break open a competitive contest and send the Mounties to an 8-1 victory over Burrillville.
The Mounties led 3-0 after two periods before blowing the game wide open in the final stanza. Mike Magerman, Trevor Plante and Ryan Berard each scored two goals for Mount, which is now 14-1-1 on the season with two games left on the league schedule.
