Northmen booted by North Providence

NORTH PROVIDENCE --- One not-so-great half of soccer resulted in North Smithfield High’s first loss of the season on Thursday afternoon.
North Providence High received a pair of second-half goals from Alexander Mendoza to break a 1-1 tie and soar to a 3-1 triumph over the Northmen in their battle of Division III-North unbeatens at the Ricci Athletic Complex.
