MSC gets back on track, blanks Moses Brown

January 8, 2012

PORTSMOUTH — Mount St. Charles rebounded from Friday night’s 6-3 loss to Bishop Hendricken with a solid 3-0 shutout of Moses Brown on Sunday at the Portsmouth Abbey rink.
Brian Campbell scored two goals to lead the Mounties, who evened their Division I league record at 3-3 on the season.
“We played great,” coach Dave Belisle said. “The kids had to kill seven penalties and they did a good job of it. Overall, this was a good bounce-back game for us.”
Mount gets another crack at first-place Hendricken (7-0-1) on Saturday night in a 6:30 p.m. game at Thayer Arena in Warwick.
