Joseph L. B. Nadeau
WOONSOCKET - Joseph L. B. Nadeau, a retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, died Friday at home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy C. Nadeau.
Born in Woonsocket on Oct. 31, 1934, he was a son of the late Leo Aime Nadeau and Anita (Boudreau) Nadeau.
He attended St. Joseph's Elementary School and was a 1952 graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy.
George S. DiCesare
WOONSOCKET - George S. DiCesare, 66, of Woonsocket, died Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Suzanne Meunier. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Silvio S. and Cecile (Fontaine) DiCesare.
George was a communicant and former organist at Holy Family Church, and sang in its choir.
Terry T. O'Rourke
WOONSOCKET - Terry T. (Lambert) O'Rourke, 89, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 12, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. O'Rourke, whom she married February 2, 1949. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Elzear and Julia (Mercier) Lambert.
Mrs. O'Rourke was employed by French Tex Novelty Yarns and Royal Robes, before retiring in 1985 to care for her late husband. She was a former member of the Royal Travelers. Mrs. O'Rourke was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church.

Thatâ€™s what the owners of two school bus companies and a local police chief are saying after a school bus operated by an 84-year-old man struck a 15-year-old boy in nearby Northbridge earlier this week. The boy suffered serious head injuries and was placed in a medically induced coma at a Worcester-area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition on Friday.
William Legare, president of Valley Transportation, based in Woonsocket, said he once employed a school bus driver who was 84 years old.

WOONSOCKET - Ronald C. Ferland, 66, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Landmark Hospital. He was the husband of the late Suzanne Goyette. He was born to Sylvio and Faye (Barrs) Ferland.
He is survived by a sister Sylvia Belhumeur, and four brothers, Robert, Lawrence, Marcel and James.
Funeral services will be private.

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Therese Sylvianne (Gelinas) Jacques, 92, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away September 11, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence.
She was born September 21, 1921 in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Frank & Annette (Dansereau) Gelinas.
