Leona Ann Paul
UNIONVILLE, CT- Leona Ann (Makowski) Paul, 71, died peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2012 in Unionville, CT.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Dale William Paul; her sons, Scott and Cary; daughter-in-laws, Erika and Arlene; six grandchildren, Caitlin, Amanda, Korben, Samantha, Will, and Annika; and many other loving siblings, nieces and nephews and extended family.
Known as Lee to her family and friends, who were many, she was born on April 11, 1941, to Michael and Stella Makowski.
Violet R. Poulin
WOONSOCKET- Violet R. Poulin 92, died Thursday, January 24th at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Oscar Poulin.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Esperalda (Dufresne) Dugas. Violet worked as an assembler for the former Miller Electric Co. for twenty years, before retiring thirty years ago. She enjoyed bingo, crafts, and crochet.
Alfred G. Wright
BURRILLVILLE- Alfred G. Wright, 72, of Round Top Rd., died January 24, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Audrey A. Wright.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late John and Gertrude (O'Neil) Wright.
Mr. Wright was the owner of Wright Construction. He was a truck driver and also a foreman at Poly Vinyl Films, Sutton MA. He enjoyed being outside, whether fishing or splitting wood. He loved camping in the White Mountains of NH with all of his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed sitting by the campfire with his family.
Gordon S. Lang Jr.
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Gordon S. Lang Jr. 70, resident of North Smithfield died peacefully January 20, 2013 at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1942 in Providence RI, a son of the late Gordon Sr. & Kathleen (White) Lang.
Gordon worked for the Congress Construction Co. in Peabody MA, for many years; retiring in 2008, previously he worked for the Gilbane Construction Co. He lived most of his life in North Smithfield most of his life, previously he lived in Lincoln. He was a Marine Veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Woonsocket.
John R. O'Neill
NORTH SMITHFIELD- John R. O'Neill 67, resident of North Smithfield passed away January 23, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
He was the husband of the late Suzanne (Stevenin) O'Neill.
He was born March 5, 1945 in Woonsocket RI, a son of the late James Harry & Rena (Mercier) O'Neill.
