Constance Marie Theresa Gelinas
CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO, CANADA- It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Connie (Constance Marie Theresa) Gelinas nee Normandin, originally from Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on December 24th, 2012 at 10:24pm in her 87th year at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.
She was blessed to be surrounded by her loving family until the very end of her life.
Sharon C. Burrows
NASONVILLE- Sharon C. (Regan) Burrows 61, Mt. Pleasant Rd., died Monday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Frank E. Burrows.
Mrs. Burrows was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Gabrielle (Genereux) Regan.
An avid sports fan, Sharon enjoyed New England sports as well as NASCAR. Above all, she was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed participating in the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life".
Harland A. Bergeron
BELLINGHAM- Harland A. Bergeron, 85, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, MA. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris (Besette) Bergeron.
Born in Central Falls, RI on July 12, 1927, he was the son of the late Joseph and Cordelia (Trudeau) Bergeron.
Emilienne A. Lapierre
WOONSOCKET- Emilienne A. "Amy" Lapierre, 92, Woonsocket died peacefully Monday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Albert G. Lapierre.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Justine (Lambaer) Platiau.
She was a lifelong resident of the city. In her early years she worked in the local textile industry.

A private service was held at S. Dipardo Memorial Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 4, 2013.
Donations in Rylen's name to St. Jude's Hospital would be appreciated.
WOONSOCKET - Michael Hlywka, 95, of Third Ave. died peacefully Friday January 4, 2013 at home with his family by his side.
He was the husband of Lillian (Surprenant) Hlywka. Michael and Lillian celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this past August. He worked for various textile mills in the area and also Foxboro Co. as a Machinist Tech for 20 years.
Gerard A. Doiron
CUMBERLAND - Gerard A. Doiron, 84, of Manville Hill Road died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (L'Heureux) Doiron.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Dominique and Armande (Desjardins) Doiron, he had lived in Albion all of his life before moving to Cumberland 3 years ago.
Mr. Doiron was a machine operator for the former Collyer Insulated Wire Company, Lincoln for 22 years before retiring.
