WILLIAMSBURG, VA- Henri Albert Joseph Julie, 74, of Williamsburg, Va., formerly of Uniondale and Sayville, Long Island, passed away after a short and courageous battle with malignant melanoma on July 31, 2012. WOONSOCKET- Isabelle (Cinq-Mars) Fregeau died Monday at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Fregeau.
Born in Winooski, VT she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Dolores (Lareau) Cinq-Mars.
Mrs. Fregeau was a dietary supervisor at Rhode Island Hospital for many years before retiring in 1988.
Oviette M. Bernard
BURRILLVILLE- Oviette M. (Lamothe) Bernard, 90, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 in Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Albert W. Bernard and they resided in Oakland for many years.
Born in Montreal, Canada she was the daughter of the late Evarestide and Ida (St. Pierre) Lamothe.
She worked as a mender for area textile mills for years.

WOONSOCKET â€” Boston-based Steward Health Care System now has until Aug. 31 to close on the sale of financially-troubled Landmark Medical Center and Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island.
In a statement released late Monday, Amy Kempe, spokeswoman for State Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin, said Steward Health Care's request to waive Kilmartin's condition that the closing on the sale take place 60 days from the date of his May 25 decision to approve the sale was â€śdenied.â€ť

WOONSOCKET- Jacqueline A. (Caouette) Chamberland, 55, of Transit St., Woonsocket, died July 25, 2012 at home. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Cecile R. (Trudell) Godin and her husband Roger of Cumberland and the late Maurice A. Caouette.
James J. Lavallee
BURRILLVILLE- James J. Lavallee, 62, died Friday July 27, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Resident of Mowry St. Harrisville, he was born in Providence, son of Joyce H. (Riley) Lavallee of Harrisville and the late Normand Lavallee.
He worked as a Bar tender for the former Pascoag Cafe and also worked in Construction for many years. A graduate from Burrillville High School he played hockey, baseball and football. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.
Besides his mother James is survived by a brother Dennis Lavallee of Harrisville.
WOONSOCKET- Ralph Begin, 70, of Manville Rd. died Wednesday June 18, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Rodolpha and Jeanne (Leroux) Begin.
Mr. Begin served the Library Board of Trustees, the Zoning Board and the Board of Tenant Affairs, all in Woonsocket.
Funeral Services and burial will be private.
WOONSOCKET- Omer LaRose 82, of Estes St. died Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Patricia (Dilloyen) LaRose.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Henry and Elodia (Lagace) LaRose.
Mr. LaRose was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
He worked as a custodian for the Woonsocket School System for fifteen years prior to retiring.
He was a member of the Italian Workingmen's Club.
Besides his wife Patricia, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
