BURRILLVILLE- Raymond E. Young III, 72, resident of Harrisville, passed away March 16, 2011 in Colchester CT.
Born in Woonsocket RI, he was the son of the late Raymond & Frances (Senkarik) Young.
Donald " Red " Houle
GLENDALE- Donald "Red" Houle , 74, of Waterfront Lane, died Friday March 18, 2011, with his family by his side.
He was the husband of Mary Ann ( Weseluk ) Houle.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Albert and Helen (Frechette) Houle.
He worked for New York Lunch, in the 1960's for several years, and also in construction for Tilcon Gammino, in Cranston, R.I. for 32 years.
He was United States Navy Veteran and also served in the National Guard.
He was a member of the Cumberland Beagle Club, and the United motorcycle and Local 57, Engineers.
CUMBERLAND- Martitz-Delisle, Florence, 86, of Cumberland and formerly of Pawtucket, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011. She was the wife of the late Ernest Martitz and the late Philip Delisle. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Vernon) Lemay.
Mrs. Martitz-Delisle had lived most of her life in Pawtucket before moving to Cumberland in 1995. She was a member of the 3rd Order of Saint Francis and a member of the Holy Spirit Fraternity of the Franciscan Order.
Amelia T. Romat
FRAMINGHAM, MA- Amelia T. (Wawszkiewicz) Romat, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday at the Kathleen Daniel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Framingham. She was the loving wife of Joseph Romat.
Born, August 6, 1916. in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Victor & Helen (Zacharyasz) Wawszkiewicz.
She and her husband resided on Maple St. in Holliston, MA. for many years before moving to Framingham..
Amelia was employed as a printer for the Dennison Manufacturing Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1983.

BURRILLVILLE - The local Lions Club, in partnership with the Burrillville Parks & Recreation Department and Burrillville Public Works, is gearing up for the 12th Annual Burrillville Earth Day Cleanup to be held Saturday, April 23.
The event will kick off at 8:30 a.m. at the Burrillville Highway Department, 65 Union Avenue, Harrisville. The rain date is Saturday, April 30.

But the less-than-favorable conditions in the Providence race didnâ€™t stop him from breaking the tape a winner.
The 26-year-old Connecticut native captured the final stage of the inaugural Tour de Patrick, finishing the out-and-back course with a time of 15:31.7. Pretak held off defending titlist Eric Lonergan of North Kingstown, who claimed the runner-up spot at 15:35.4.
CUMBERLAND - The Town Council will hold a special meeting Monday to discuss the town's legislative agenda, which will include hot button issues such as acceleration of the school funding formula phase-in, vehicle excise tax, and state housing aid.
The meeting gets underway at 7:30 p.m. in the Cumberland Public Library's Hayden Center meeting room, 1464 Diamond Hill Road.
Each year, the council develops an agenda that both supports and opposes legislation based on whether or not the bills help the town achieve its goals or detracts from those objectives.
