WOONSOCKET- Joseph B. Giles, 30, of Rutland St., died Friday, October 22, 2010 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Jose and Susan (Harpin) Giles of Glendale and Rachel and Hector Hernandez of Framingham, MA.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his companion, Nilsa Perez and her daughter, Victoria Riviera of Woonsocket, his children, Thomas Conte of Virginia Beach, VA, Leannah Giles of Framingham, MA and Christian Giles of Bridgeport, CT, three brothers, Matthew Giles of Woonsocket, Adam Giles of Glendale and Jamon Hernandez of Hopedale, MA, his sister, Jessica Nixon of NY, his paternal grandmother, Maria Giles, his maternal grandparents, Oscar and Henriette Harpin and his godparents, Jeanne Hart and her belated husband, Brian Hart.
A graveside service will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at 11AM in Union Cemetery, Smithfield Rd., No. Smithfield. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Navigant Credit Union, c/o Giles Scholarship Fund, 1280 Park Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895
