HARRISVILLE Kevin R. McCormick, 35, of Maple Dr., died Oct. 24, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 26, 1975 in Woonsocket, a son of James H. Mac and Lorraine (Lapierre) McCormick, III of Harrisville.
Kevin worked as a kitchen aide for the Homestead Group in Woonsocket, Wendys Restaurant in Lincoln and the North Smithfield Middle School.
Kevin was involved with the Special Olympics winning many medals. He was an avid New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers and Boston Red Sox fan. Kevin had a wonderful smile and the gift to gab.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Jeffrey M. and his wife Kimberly of Pascoag and James P. McCormick of Harrisville; a sister, Kelly Robinson and her husband William of Foster; four nieces, Kristi and Kayli Robinson and Meghan and godchild Madison McCormick; a paternal grandmother, Elvera McCormick of Pascoag; a maternal grandmother, Constance Lapierre of Nasonville and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
His Funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the Brown Funeral Homes, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Good Help Church, Mapleville. Burial will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Homestead Group, 68 Cumberland St., Ste., 200, Woonsocket. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-8 pm.
