CUMBERLAND- Lucille G. (Bolduc) Jodoin, 77, of Cumberland, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Landmark Medical Center with family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 57 years of Roland E. Jodoin.
Born in Woonsocket on May 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Lindor and Emelia (Paquin) Bolduc.
She was the loving mother of Gary R. Jodoin of Chepachet, RI, Linda M. Jodoin of Key West, FL; and her cherished 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Theresa Beauregard and her husband, Gerry, of Palm Desert, CA, Simonne Benevides of Murrietta, CA, Lorraine Labonte of Attleboro, MA, Normand Bolduc and his wife, Beth, of Indio, CA.
She was a resident of Cumberland for over 35 years, formerly of Bellingham, MA for over 23 years. Mrs. Jodoin worked as an assembler at Uniroyal in Woonsocket until their closing, then was a waitress at Chelo's in Cumberland for over 5 years. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 30, at 8:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
Visiting time from 8:30 to 9:30AM at the funeral home prior to Mass. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Lucille Jodoin may be sent to Visiting Nurse Service of Greater Rhode Island, 6 Blackstone Valley Place, Suite 515, Lincoln, RI 02865 would be appreciated.
