Obama to visit Woonsocket

WOONSOCKET — President Barack Obama will be visiting the city Monday to tour American Cord & Webbing in Highland Industrial Park and speak with the workers.
The Associated Press reports that the president will be joined by U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse and Congressman Jim Langevin.
Obama was already scheduled to visit Providence Monday to attend a fundraiser for David Cicilline, the Democratic cnadidate for the first congressional district.
